** His next appearance following the Christmas Episode starts with him in a prison cell being spooned by a large man [[hottip:*: not because of what happened on Christmas, the reason is the point of the episode]]. YMMV as to whether getting ass [[SoundEffectBleep *Guitar Riff*]] in prison is enough to make up for what he did, but at least he got SOMETHING.

** How can we forget Kevin? Back in the early episodes, he usually messed with the Eds if they started it. Later on, he never missed a chance to make the Eds' lives a living hell like if they killed his father or something. But what really made fans hate him was his massive KickTheDog moment in "Your Ed Here." After he found out Eddy's EmbarassingMiddleName, he forces Eddy to do humiliating tasks (ie, kissing Double D) in return for not telling anyone. Then, for no reason at all, he tells everyone his middle name anyway. It's no coincidence that fans wanted him to die a horrible, painful death after that episode.

**** Arguably the reason the show has evolved him somewhat into a SelfDeprecation avatar. He speaks for many fans complaints against particular elements of the show (eg. Peter's JerkAss antics, just about anything [[TheWesley Brian]] does, Conway Twitty). Placing a voice for fans on such a flawed character, and of course acting it out in an occasionally flawed manner (''everything'' Brian does [[KafkaKomedy pisses him off]], justified or not, for example) leads their depiction of fan outcry to be portrayed in a two way manner, for issues that are justified ([[AuthorsSavingThrow and show they are admitant to their problematic writing]]), or [[UnpleasableFanbase petty or outright hypocritical]].

** Sierra may have a few fans, but the vast majority of the fandom either don't care for her or find her annoying, the fact that she's basically a CanonSue who bothers, molests and possibly ''rapes'' Cody on a regular basis despite his voiced fear of her, has a voice so annoying it makes you want to duct-tape her mouth closed, has her own section in NightmareFuel has constant TooDumbToLive moments, has been rude to every character that ISN'T Cody despite her claims of being a "super-fan", has magical NewPowersAsThePlotDemands, overreacts towards ANY insult towards Cody, humiliates both Chris and Cody on national television, is [[InsufferableGenius absolutely insufferable when boasting about her knowledge of half the cast]] and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking uses a variety of irritating chat-speech phrases like L-O-L or O-M-G]].

** See as well Boom-Boom. Aside from a rather ridiculous codename (which seems to be par for the course anyway), her character was ''supposed'' to hit a "fun bad-girl" vibe but came off as irritating to many in the fandom.

* ''TheNewAdventuresOfBatman'' had Bat-Mite.

* Eustace, the AssholeVictim from ''CourageTheCowardlyDog''. He's also an UngratefulBastard who has tried to kill or scare Courage on many occasions...despite Courage saving his fucking life several times. He calls Courage stupid repeatably as ell, when he's anything but.
** That alone doesn't make him a Scrappy. He's not hated by the fan base, probably because he always gets what's coming to him in the end.
*** This is also mostly the point of his personality. Eustace is meant to be a grumpy old prick. He's not really meant to be sympathized with unless there's a bigger, clear JerkAss in the area (like his own mother). Eustace does things similar to other Scrappies on this list, but he always gets comeuppance (sometimes when he hadn't done anything) and it's always handled well by the show.
*** The problem is that more often than not, the "comeuppance" is presented as the main ''conflict arc'' in the series, and Courage, our hero who is supposed to be the paragon of morality, is wasted in MyMasterRightOrWrong tales; not saving the world or any significant fraction of it; only saving one asshole whom most of the world would be happy to see die. Contrary to what's mentioned in the intro sequence, it's arguably ''Eustace'' who makes ''Courage'' look bad.
** Of course Eustace is often one of the main driving forces behind the show, without him Courage's only conflict is the MonsterOfTheWeek .

** Also, Marie/Edd and May/Edd are popular couples in the fandom.

* Even though Scrappy-Doo himself hasn't been introduced yet in ''ScoobyDooMysteryIncorporated'', we already have a contender in Fred's dad. He's the mayor of Crystal Cove, and is determined to keep it a tourist attraction. So when there are several attacks from [[ScoobyDooPlot monsters]] on several citizens, [[spoiler: including one which fell off a CLIFF and almost DIED]], all he cares about is 'getting the thing on film'. And he hates it when the Gang solves the mysteries. Fans are waiting for ''him'' to become a REAL victim so he can escape being a KarmaHoudini.

* The Kanker sisters in ''EdEddNEddy'' [[YourMileageMayVary have very few fans and for a good reason:]] the only thing they actually do is break in on what ever the Eds are doing ([[StatusQuoIsGod but only if the Eds are succeeding]]) and take everything. As a bonus, they are also FlatCharacter[=s=] ("A trio that [''really''] likes the Eds" -- that's as deep as you can get) and, compared to the rest of the cast (even characters like Kevin, the local bully, who [[DependingOnTheWriter usually]] has some integrity to make up for his flaws), the Kankers almost always get away with everything they do. [[DieForOurShip And their affection for the Eds gets in the way of other pairings.]] Even if some of the other characters (Kevin, Sarah, Jimmy because of "If it Smells Like an Ed") are hated, their hate base size pales in comparason to the Kankers.

First was Buzzwang, an android who desperately wanted to be a Ranger, but was just [[TheLoad a clueless idiot]] and kept getting into stupid situations. Another were the Kiwi Kids. Take Spridle from SpeedRacer and multiply by three. It didn't help that Corrine Orr was ''using'' variants of her Spridle voice for all three, either. At a GR marathon with story editor/writer Chris Rowley, he heckled the screen.

** Hey hey now, let's not downplay why she is considered The Scrappy. The fact of the matter is that this is called "Jackie Chan Adventures". Rather than have Jackie Chan kung-fu'ing it up, we get some kid running headfirst into danger, shoehorning her way into most situations, causing many problems on her own. Even children, the demographic she was aimmed at, has gotten pretty annoyed at her obnoxious tendencies. [[BrattyHalfPint The fact that she is ten doesn't do much to help her situation]]. If anything, she has much in common with Scrappy Doo herself. That doesn't mean Jackie Chan wasn't the main focus of the show, but there is a reason Jade is considered the Scrappy.

Scooby-Doo would literally have to drag him over to fairly obvious hiding spot's and lead him away from danger on chases. He'd also get into moronic antics that made [[TheFool Scooby-Doo]], [[TheStoner Shaggy]], and [[TheScrappy Scrappy]] [[BeyondTheImpossible all look intelligent by comparison.]] Hell, he makes [[StarWars Jar Jar Binks]] look like a dignified and sophisticated paragon of comedy.
