* In ''Manga/BlackClover'', Rebecca Scarlett's siblings (even her ''[[UpToEleven baby brother]]'') all want her to make a move on Asta, despite her flustered protests and how she actually wants to do it (that being the main, secret reason why she even invited him to their home).

** The manga periodically has different characters addressing the idea of [[BroodingBoyGentleGirl Ichigo and Orihime]]. Ichigo's sisters, specially Karin, discuss Orihime being more Ichigo's type than Tatsuki. Tatsuki herself graphically lectures Orihime on how to snare Ichigo. Soul Society residents comment on Orihime's beauty but don't pursue her because they believe she and Ichigo are a couple. Several of Ichigo's rivals have used Orihime as a motivator for Ichigo — with Grimmjow, Nnoitora, Ulquiorra, Ginjo, Tsukishima and even [[spoiler: Yhwach]] ''openly'' lampshading her importance to him. Rukia gets Ichigo to give a DeclarationOfProtection to Orihime, Nel lectures Ichigo on how to properly treat Orihime (GroinAttack included), Uryu at some point is mentally telling Ichigo to win against Ulquiorra for "her [Orihime's] sake", and Urahara tricks Orihime into wearing a revealing dress that might attract Ichigo; when Chad asks Ichigo what he thinks of Orihime's dress, Ichigo becomes flustered and this causes Yoruichi to berate him for not complimenting Orihime's appearance. Few later Chad, Ichigo and Orihime are attacked by monsters, and when Ichigo pretty much cradles Orihime close to protect her, Chad gives him a thumbs-up. [[spoiler:The epilogue is set ten years into the future, revealing that Ichigo and Orihime are HappilyMarried and have a son called Kazui who has inherited Soul Reaper powers; a novel related to it has Renji ''openly'' telling Ichigo to talk to Orihime.]]

* In the classic {{shojo}} manga ''Manga/AiShiteNight'', Hideki "Hashizo" Katou's first scene is about how he dreams of becoming "someone like Cupid who appears in picture books". (Let's cut him some slack, though, [[ChildrenAreInnocent he's a kindergartener]]). Predictably, once Hashizo meets a GirlNextDoor named Yakko who may be a good girlfriend for [[PromotionToParent his older brother and caretaker]] [[TheCasanova Go]], he ships them rather hard.

* Moe in ''Manga/AsteroidInLove'' is mainly focused on Mira and Ao (to the point that if she didn't give enough encouragement [[ShyBlueHairedGirl Ao]] would feel inadequete to Mira), but has no qualms imagining other potential pairings.

* ''Manga/MoriartyThePatriot'': Err...''friend''shipper. Nonetheless, Billy acts exactly the same way about Sherlock and William's friendship that a traditional ShipperOnDeck would. He constantly comments on how he can tell they're relaly close, laughs at their displays of affection, constantly teases them about it, and even swears to protect Sherlock with his life to ensure that Sherlock and William never have to live through losing the other.

* ''Manga/MoriartyThePatriot'': Err..."''friend''shipper. Nonetheless, Billy acts exactly the same way about Sherlock and William's friendship that a traditional ShipperOnDeck would. He constantly comments on how he can tell they're relaly close, laughs at their displays of affection, constantly teases them about it, and even swears to protect Sherlock with his life to ensure that Sherlock and William never have to live through losing the other.

* Installments on ''Anime/DarkerThanBlack'' (namely, the second season and {{interquel}} manga) have contained numerous instances of characters teasing [[FairCop Misaki Kirihara]] that the ''real'' reason she wants to catch BK-201 is that she has a crush on him. To be fair, they're [[ChickMagnet probably]] [[FatalAttraction right]].

** Cuuko tries to ship Mahiro with [[CuteShotaroBoy Hasta]] in order to PairTheSpares; she wants Nyarko for herself. Hasta is totally fine with this, but Mahiro and Nyarko aren't.

* ''Manga/{{Touch}}'':

** Karen is a particularly extreme example. She treats the sight of Kaguya and Shirogane involved in romantic situations as a ''religious experience''.

** ''Mokona'' reveals itself to be this during a scouting expedition in the second half when he makes sure to pair Umi with Ascot and Fuu with Ferio.

* Tenma from ''[[Anime/InazumaEleven Inazuma Eleven GO]]'' seems to be an Ichinose/Aki shipper as seen when he asks Aki if she had received any calls from America lately, which makes her blush. This heavily implies both that they are in a [[ChildhoodFriendRomance romantic relationship]] and that at least Tenma is shipping them (giving Tenma and Aki are related, it makes sense).

** The [[NiceGirl usually sweet and quiet]] Hitomi Shizuki reacts with hilarious [[YuriFan excitement]] when she believes that her friends [[RosehairedSweetie Madoka]] and [[TomBoy Sayaka's]] relationship has "progressed", when it hasn't. [[spoiler:FridgeBrilliance kicks in when you realize that Hitomi is in love with [[IllBoy Kyousuke Kamijou]] ([[LoveTriangle who Sayaka *is* actually in love with)]] and that she was probably hoping that Sayaka was a lesbian or a lesbian-leaning bi that would prefer Madoka over Kamijou, thus both girls would be happy with their respective "love interests" and there'd be no need to "fight" over him. [[LoveHurts Overall, it doesn't end well]].]]

** Negi/[[AntiVillain Fate]]: Tsukuyomi, who is so adamant about the FoeYay that she taunts Fate by telling him she's gonna finish Negi off herself... and is utterly ''delighted'' when he immediately reacts, defeats her [[CloseCallHaircut and chops off her long hair]]. Even ''[[RealityWarper Dynamis]]'' can see Fate's attachment to Negi. Fate himself later admits it pretty openly. One has to wonder how come it took Negi to reach EvenTheGuysWantHim status...

** Brook comments approvingly on a [[HoYay rather romantic-seeming moment]] between [[FoeYay Zoro and Sanji]]--during the Punk Hazard arc, in which Sanji's mind was stuck in Nami's body. This leaves it ambiguous (or perhaps [[HideYourLesbians plausibly deniable]]) exactly ''which'' pair Brook is shipping, but we know he's shipping ''something.'' (Ultimately, his native series' [[NoHuggingNoKissing non-romantic nature]] means he'll be disappointed either way.)

* Mina Ashido from ''Manga/MyHeroAcademia'', apart from being pink and perky, also is the first to see potential relationships all around her. Aside from Aoyama, she was the first to (correctly) deduce Uraraka has a crush and wonders if it's Midoriya or Iida since she frequently hangs out with them.[[note]]pretty good logic--Uraraka's fallen for Midoriya[[/note]] She goes all gushy when Ms. Joke banters at Aizawa, realizing there is probably something between them behind the teasing, and during the Joint Training Exercise, seeing All Might and Midnight together makes her wonder.

** Shiho asks Mai to become one for her and Yuuichi in Episode 6, and Mai accepts. Unfortunately, when Yuuichi [[WhatAnIdiot expresses his love for Mai with Shiho present]] in Episode 13, Shiho becomes very angry and accuses Mai of lying to her.

* ''Anime/Persona4TheAnimation'' has Yosuke trying to be this for Yu×Chie. This is due to him misunderstanding Chie on some points; and, you know, that he's a [[WhatAnIdiot colossal idiot]].

* In ''Manga/DemonSlayerKimetsuNoYaiba'', the ever diligent, religious monk warrior Gyomei Himejima, who seemed like the last person one would ever consider to bother about romance matters is then curiously revealed in the second Databook that he was quite perceptive on what possible couples could form out of his Hashira colleagues, [[spoiler:Mitsuri and Iguro loving each other looked certain to him; he thought Sanemi liked Kanae; he thought Giyuu and Shinobu at least liked talking to each other]].

* ''Manga/HighschoolOfTheDead'': It takes them awhile to get there, but it's clear that [[ShortTank Saya]] and [[{{megane}} Hirano]] are made for each other. In chapter 28, when they exchange guns, it leads to a tender moment between them; [[EveryoneCanSeeIt causing Rei and the others to smile knowingly]] while Alice waves a pair of flags.

** Kaho Mizuki is a [[YaoiGuys Touya/Yukito fangirl]] from ''before'' Touya and Yukito met. For added effect, ''she'' was dating Touya when she basically told him "you'll meet this guy in the future, and you'll fall in love with him..."

* Princess Tomoyo seems to ship [[YaoiGuys Kurogane/Fay]] in ''Manga/TsubasaReservoirChronicle''. The Kimono she dresses Fay up in is... [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furisode interesting]].

** Hiyori ships [[RomanticTwoGirlFriendship Minami/Yutaka]], as shown when a heartwarming moment between the two gives Hiyori "ideas".

** In ''[[Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagicaTheMovieRebellion Rebellion]]'', ''Homura'' somewhat makes her opinion known on that matter, in a rather twisted way. Twice. [[spoiler:By creating an 'ideal world' inside her witch barrier, and later by rewriting reality. In both worlds she has Sayaka-Kamijou-Hitomi LoveTriangle resolved by preserving Hitomi and Kyousuke's relationship, and [[YuriFan apparently opts]] for Sayaka to be in a RomanticTwoGirlFriendship with Kyoko. Also, it seems like she's somewhat fascinated by the idea of Mami and Nagisa/Charlotte together.]] [[PanderingToTheFanbase Hmmmm....]]

** Virgo does this as well, towards both Gray/Lucy ''and'' Natsu/Lucy, complete with Happy's catch phrase.
** Lucy eventually gets revenge on Happy by shipping him with Carla, even using his own catchphrase against him.

** Their cousin Akane ships Hikaru/Kyosuke too, specially because she seems to [[SchoolgirlLesbians want Madoka for herself.]] In fact, right before meeting Madoka, Akane was VERY angry at her because she mistakenly thought [[MistakenForCheating she was Kyousuke's "girl on the side"]]...

** A flashback arc in ''Manga/MyHeroAcademiaVigilantes'' depicts young Oboro [[SchoolgirlLesbians lightheartedly]] [[HoYay shipping]] [[FanPreferredCouple Eraser and Mic...]] [[TriangRelations and,]] [[ShipperWithAnAgenda apparently,]] [[OneTrueThreesome himself.]]
