* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: Just about every female cast member dresses up to the nines at various points in the series, and rarely do these occasions pass without at least one of them getting into a fight with someone or something. It usually ends with that someone or something getting their ass handed to them.

Added DiffLines:

** Tamsin, a centuries-old valkyrie, has been this for far longer than the above three combined.

Added DiffLines:

* CatFight: Bo usually kicks ass the regular way like most straight-up brawlers do, but in Season 5 she does get into one of these with of all things (yes, THAT one. It's not just a naming coincidence).

* Adorkable: Lauren. Murmuring "isotopes" in her sleep? D'awwwwwww. InUniverse, as well; Bo even states that she loves it when Lauren "totally geeks out."

[stab] And that is for breaking Kenzi's heart.]]

[stab] [stabs] And that is for breaking Kenzi's heart.]]

* AmbiguouslyBi: In Season 3, Vex is either genuinely hitting on Dyson and Hale, or just trying to piss them off. Or both.

Kenzie: Stop saying that to me! Why does everybody keep saying that? We all used to be friends, Hale!\\

to:

Kenzie: Kenzi: Stop saying that to me! Why does everybody keep saying that? We all used to be friends, Hale!\\

* TheArtfulDodger: Kenzi has a past as a criminal and has more or less lived on the street for periods of her life. She seems to have been quite happy with that existence, though she clearly prefers living with Bo.

* BrilliantButLazy: Kenzi, who absolutely refuses to have a proper job.
** Lauren calls her on it when she gets sick of Kenzi's taunts:
-->Lauren: You just bounce through life, no job, no plan, from one beer to the next and still everyone dotes on you don't they?

* TheGoodTheBadAndTheEvil: The Fae world is divided between the Light Fae (the "Good") who make some token efforts to avoid being completely SelfishEvil, and the Dark Fae who… really, really don't (the Bad). But it's all shades of grey, and the real villains are monsters (the Evil) with no Light/Dark allegiance.

* HotScientist[=/=]HospitalHottie: Lauren, doctor/scientist for the Light Fae.

* OnlySaneMan: Hale is one of the most level-headed characters overall in the series and has acted as the voice of reason to most of the characters at least once by the end of the second season.

Lost Girl is a TV series produced for Canada's Creator/Showcase Television. It revolves around Bo, a young woman with the ability to control men and women through her touch and suck the life from them with a kiss. She is a succubus, and one of the Fae, a group made up of several races of supernatural entities separated into two sides: Light and Dark. Rather than choosing a side, Bo decides to strike out on her own and learn about her past with the help of a streetwise sidekick named Kenzi, a Fae police detective named Dyson and his sidekick Hale, a beautiful scientist named Lauren, and a wise old man named Trick.

Added DiffLines:

* SeriesContinuityError: The series has always been kind of loose with contiunity, but it gets REALLY bad in Season 4 to the point it blatantly contradicts itself from episode to episode. Season 5 tries to clear this up with mixed results. Pretty much anything to do with The Wanderer falls under this trope.

* LaserGuidedKarma: Both averted and played straight in the episode "Big in Japan." Musashi is revered as a hero for winning a major battle long ago, a bit of an arrogant playboy spending money as he hooks up with various women. He's about to ascend to the head of his clan and recieve the power of his ancestors and asks Bo to find out who's trying to kill him. It turns out to be Musashi's sister, Tomoe but for a good reason. She was the one who won that battle long ago and when people assumed it was Musashi (being the elder son), she let them do so out of honor, not knowing her brother would turn so arrogant. She's just discovered that if Musashi attempts to ascend to the clan head under such a lie, he'll be cursed into a demon who literally licks toliets for eternity. Knowing he'll never admit the truth (he's come to believe his own lie), Tomoe is now trying to save her brother from such a horrible fate.
** Played straight as Bo and Tamsin help Tomoe prove at the ceremony that she was the hero and Musashi confesses he's been taking the credit all these centuries. He tries to kill Bo but she manages to recover and Musashi discovers that once it's known he's a cowardly fraud, no one wants anything to do with him. He's also forced to spend the next century or so working a menial job at the family resturant to pay back all the clan money he spent on himself.
