''wrath'']]. Even worse is the fact that [[spoiler:Nemesis]] starts hallucinating that Hansel and Gretel are taunting her and mocking her for being abandoned.

* Ney Futapie is a fountain of Nightmare Fuel, from her maniacal murder of Michaela in ''Wiegenlied of Green'' to raising the dead while [[LaughingMad laughing]] in ''Praeludium of Red''.

* Banica's Graveyard ending, meanwhile, gives her and her servants the power to [[spoiler:travel to other worlds, sampling their residents as more "evil foods"]]. The first world we see her in is [[spoiler:a warring nation filled with abnormally large humans]]. She orders her servants to attack and kill these people and bring her back [[spoiler:an enormous steak]]. Whereas karma bit Adam, Eve and Irina very hard and gave Riliane, Allen and everyone else the KarmicJackpot, Banica and her servants [[KarmaHoudini never received any justice]] for their crimes and Banica, when you get right down to it, [[CardCarryingVillain never changed]].

* Lich Arklow and Eater Sabella. While Eater [[spoiler: is really a dandere in a big body]], that still doesn't explain just how ''big'' he is. Heck, he's able to carry a LOT of people. And Lich's smile is just... ''creepy.'' It doesn't help that, although it's revealed that [[spoiler:Lich is Michaela's older brother,]] it was also [[WordOfGod confirmed in a livestream]] that he's the Black Rollam Bird that attacked Michaela in Wiegenlied. [[spoiler:Cain and Abel, much?]]

* Lich Arklow and Eater Sabella's appearances. While Eater [[spoiler: is really a dandere in a big body]], that still doesn't explain just how ''big'' he is. Heck, he's able to carry a LOT of people. * The Court Ending. While Banica and her servants get to [[spoiler: traverse other worlds in search of the ultimate evil food]], and everyone else [[spoiler: gets to be reborn in Allen and Riliane's new world]], Adam, Eve, Irina, and Gammon [[spoiler: end up stuck in a GroundhogDayLoop, returning to a slightly different version of the Original Sin Story with no memory of the events of the series.]] A bit less terrible than it could be since it's only stated that [[spoiler: history will repeat ''many'' times]], but still - [[spoiler: all those tragedies that happened, all those lives that were lost, and every above entry on this page will happen again, and if they don't, god only knows what events might take their place]]. ''The karma of "evil" is not over'' indeed.

* Ma's eventual [[spoiler:fate at the end of the world in Master of the Heavenly Yard.]] Having been made up of three different souls, [[spoiler:her consciousness would disappear upon death, as despite having a separate mind, she had no soul.]] In a world where [[spoiler:your consciousness lives on as a soul after you die, the prospect of just [[CessationOfExistence ceasing to exist]] is [[FateWorseThanDeath terrifying.]]]]

* Levia and Behemo's backstory in "Barisol's Child is an Only Child". In particular, the fact that Levia was mentioned to have been turning into a HER and the implication that Behemo murdered his own girlfriend [[DisproportionateRetribution for not letting him wear her clothes]].

* In "Capriccio Face," we have [[CreepyTwins Conchita's servants]]. ''Especially'' [[SlasherSmile the male one]].

** Riliane's tyrannical reign in general, where she executes innocent people for the flimsiest reasons, including Allen's love interest. Seeing her in the manga declare she was dead serious about executing Allen--for not ''letting her win at tag''--was chilling.

* The Master of the Hellish Yard is as terrifying as she is [[EvilIsCool awesome]]. * Fans found the Sloth novel to live up well to its hype before release. A few gems in particular were Margarita's inner monologue having an entire section of her just repeating [[MadnessMantra I am the Sleep Princess]] and the illustration of a maniacal Julia standing in her RoomFullOfCrazy.
** It's worse than that. That isn't Julia at all- that's [[spoiler:the fourth member of Pere Noel: Fourth Shadow, Mayrana Blossom]]. She and Julia are the cofounders of Pere Noel, and [[spoiler:Mayrana]] is ''obsessed'' with Julia, to the point where she [[spoiler:had Seventh Magician use the ''Venom Sword'' to make her look almost ''exactly like Julia'' and act as Julia's decoy.]] That particular scene is taken from a very tense moment in the novel when Elluka and Gumillia confront [[spoiler:Mayrana]] in her own home, upon which she reveals that the RoomFullOfCrazy is the result of her writing runes all over the house in order to specifically seal Elluka's MagicMusic powers. A battle results in which [[spoiler:Mayrana]] demonstrates terrifying use of fire magic, and very nearly defeats Elluka and Gumillia.
*** And how she is defeated in the battle just makes it even worse. Gumillia forces her outside, into a bed of greeonian plateau roses (which are the same plant from which the ''Gift poison'' is derived), and uses plant magic in order to [[spoiler:make the roses rip her body apart with their thorns to the point where she resembles the foliage surrounding her.]] Dear Held, Gumillia can be ''horrifying''.
** The crowner is ''after'' Margarita's suicide, however, where the audience learns that [[spoiler:it was all a lie, Margarita's entire existence. She's been dead since infancy and the girl that we've all been watching this whole time was a doll (well, Eve Moonlit to be precise,) pulling an illusion on everyone it came in contact with. And it wasn't the first time that we, as well as the other characters, were tricked like this.]] That's serious ParanoiaFuel.
** [[spoiler:And Mikulia died while giving birth to her son, prompting Eve to take over. Platonic too, though the audience doesn't learn what happened to the real girl. It was all Eve]]. ParanoiaFuel indeed.

* From the ''Gift'' novel's bonus story, there's something disturbing about having a casual conversation with a man who's holding up a severed head. Granted, he needed the head so Seventh Magician could make his face look like the right one, but still.

* [[AutoCannibalism Conchita eating herself.]]
** Oh there's far more with Conchita. Her grotesque tastes, her powers as {{Necromancer}}, which she uses to decimate an army, the fact that she punishes undead soldiers by [[spoiler: eating parts of them while they are conscious]] and that she simply ''refuses'' to die thanks to a HealingFactor granted through her DealWithTheDevil. In the novel, her cannibalism of Carlos, Arte and Pollo is nothing but NightmareFuel. Conchita is more of a monster than a human by the end of her arc.
** That particular scene in ''Evil Food Eater Conchita'' where she raises the undead soldiers to fight off the Beelzenian Army. It's all being witnessed by a horrified Carlos, who even recognizes some of the undead in the crowd as they ''literally tear the soldiers apart''. All this while Banica is on the ground dancing and laughing about how she's going to literally [[ExtremeOmnivore eat the whole world.]]
** Arte and Pollo are even worse than they were as Hansel and Gretel. The scene in which they are chasing Platonic is like something out of a SlasherMovie, filled with childlike "Hide-and-Seek" dialogue from them (keep in mind, they are [[OlderThanTheyLook around their mid 20s]]) and they keep Hansel and Gretel's trait of smiling unsettlingly.
** Banica's early childhood in the first chapter of the novel is very unnerving: The desperation of her household to keep themselves alive by eating anything they could get their hands on and becoming morbidly obese as a result, Meguru bullying her daughter and [[AbusiveParents forcing food down her throat for no reason]], and the entire household becoming a DwindlingParty as one by one the staff succumb to the disease. The worst part is the final scene, where a rabid Meguru decides to eat the corpse of one of their servants and Muzuri is driven to murder her in front of their young daughter.
** This part of the novel also showcased the nightmare fuel that is the Gula disease: It gives its victims cravings for inedible and even dangerous things things like [[TongueTrauma candle flames or broken mirrors]]. During the early stage of the curse, one of the Conchita estate's staff died after ''vomiting sewing scissors''.
** Many find the original EFEC song, with its disturbing lyrics and Banica's [[DescentIntoMadness Descent into Cannibalism]], to be nightmare fuel enough for this arc.

** Not to mention that to activate these powers he had to [[spoiler: stab himself in the chest with the Venom Sword]]. And he was totally okay with this too.
** There is a lesbian character in the novel called Lolan Eve. The brainwashing Venomania does to her has to be extra-powerful to make her forget her sexuality, and her mental burden over being brainwashed into this heterosexual affair is so great she often is found lying still on the floor and eventually just... [[KilledOffForReal doesn't wake up one morning]]. What makes this worse is that the Venom sword keeps its victims brainwashed through regular sexual intercourse.

Which means ''somebody'' figured it out, however, as already said, the purpose of the whole competition was for only one of the four remain, in one way or another.
