* Chapter 349 of ''{{Bleach}}'' may well have set a record for the longest BigNo in a manga, going on for two pages and forcing the speaker ([[spoiler:Orihime]]) to take a breath before concluding it. Granted, the event in question ([[spoiler:Ichigo seemingly dying]]) is extremely traumatic, but {{Big No}}s are seldom effective.
** One moment toward the end of the Soul Society arc was turned into a Narm by sub-par amateur translations of the manga chapter. [[spoiler:As Aizen advances on Rukia, who's practically paralyzed by his spiritual pressure, he tells her, "You must be paralyzed by my overwhelming power."]] Seriously, everyone knew he was a narcissist, but...
** In Chapter 356, Barragan explains that [[spoiler:each Espada embodies an aspect of death]]. While most of them are serious [[spoiler: (destruction, rage, despair, sacrifice, etc.)]], he then reveals his to be ''[[spoiler:old age]]''. Although it is [[spoiler:an aspect of death]], it seems out of place and breaks the serious tone.
*** In RealLife, society has tried to [[spoiler: decouple death from old age]] for a long time. Thus, this is like the MobileSuitGundam anime's salt shortage.
** While Bleach has many strange titles in English, the title of Chapter 363. "Superchunky From Hell," stands out as bizarrely funny, even though it's referring to [[spoiler:a large monster that comes to the battle and that may be the one that appeared at the end of the Soul Society arc]].
** Earlier, when [[spoiler:Byakuya Kuchiki kills the Espada Leroux Zommari]], Zommari loses it and starts yelling for Byakuya to... er... "Take my love from me!" It makes more sense if you know that they had a voodoo-based power called "amore," which is funny to begin with.
** In the latest chapter, when [[spoiler: everyone is fighting against Aizen all at once,]] Hitsugaya says he wants to [[NeverSayDie "do]] [[UnfortunateImplications violence"]] to Aizen.
*** A line victim of a BlindIdiotTranslation.
*** Goes straight into FunnyAneurysmMoment when [[spoiler: Aizen tricks Hitsugaya into impaling ''Momo'',]] though.

It did not help that Wonderweiss's new form looks like ''a butterfly''.]]
** 403. What's supposed to be a CMOA for [[spoiler: Aizen]] for surviving [[spoiler: Urahara's spell spam]] is ''ruined'' by this person's [[http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/403/06/ RIDICULOUS]] [[spoiler: new form]]. Seriously, WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT OMG WTF BBQ.

By adding stupid tag-lines. The most EPIC, [[MindScrew MIND-BLOWING]] THING could happen, and ''snap'' the [[RuleOfCool coolness]] evaporates into {{narm}} for the reader. Just by adding a few simple words such as: [[{{Psyren}} "Rejection!"]] or they just plain [[CaptainObvious point out the obvious]] or ask stupid questions like "What will X do next!?" As you can imagine, it becomes quite tiresome when your favorite manga gets sorta [[RuinedFOREVER ruined]] every single chapter.

** One ''[=~D.Gray-Man~=]'' scanslation translated "The Musician" (that is, [[spoiler:Allen, the only one who can control the Ark]]) as "[[{{Casanova}} The Player]]." Way to break the drama, guys. Arguably even funnier because that particular character could probably score with anyone in the series, [[EvenTheGuysWantHim male]] or [[ChickMagnet female]], if he tried.

** The [[spoiler: friendship speech that Edward gives Envy right before he commits suicide.]]
** Armstrong's face right after [[spoiler: the BigBad's defeat, where everyone thinks that Al won't make it after the last battle.]] [[spoiler: Completely kills the drama of the scene.

* The "Cleaning Out the Storage" strip in ''AxisPowersHetalia'' had [[TearJerker/AxisPowersHetalia a genuinely powerful and emotional plot]]. But when [[spoiler: England went into a TwistedKneeCollapse in front of America after being defeated]], the panel shot gives the impression that he was about to give [[spoiler: America]] head. Waaaaaaay to ruin the until-then very well-done drama, Himaruya.

* The art in ''{{Hellsing}}'''s early chapters is a bit... weird. Fortunately the manga underwent some drastic ArtEvolution, but this makes rereading Volume 1 really jarring. He's a completely different character than the [[KickTheDog sadistic]] [[HeroicSociopath psycho]] we know him as today.

** Greed's BigNo was narmy, in part because of its scanslation.

* Quoted above is a part of a scene in {{Bakuman}}, where Hattori and Miura advise Takagi and Mashiro to incorporate "serious humor" into scenes, that kids won't notice as funny, and adults will laugh at, so they can be funny without trying to be. ** Negima also contains an InUniverse example when Setsuna attempts to intimidate Chao [[http://www.onemanga.com/Mahou_Sensei_Negima!/82/18/ while wearing]] [[PlayboyBunny a bunny costume]]. Chao is quick to point out that the costume kills the drama.

* The ''KingdomHearts: Chain of Memories'' manga is already a [[AdaptationDecay terrible adaptation]] of the video games, but it manages to have quite a bit of Narm, partly due to the poor translation.
** Vexen's facial expressions. His eyes and open mouth are often too wide. The worst example is when [[spoiler:Axel fatally stabs him]].
** Numerous sight gags in serious moments. For example, when Sora explains to Jiminy why he left Donald and Goofy behind, he says they are "blockheads"; they are then shown as blocks of a city.
** Namine has a ''safety hat'' in one scene with 'SAFETY FIRST' scrawled across it in big letters. This happens during the fight between Axel and Marluxia, which is also Narmtacular; the two randomly shout out battle cries, including "PSYCHE!"
** Not only is the Riku vs. Zexion fight even more of a CurbStompBattle than it was in the games (which is saying quite a bit), but also, Zexion's last words are "Cut off... literally!", an inappropriately timed joke that detracts from the scene.

** As of chapter 574, someone has apparently '''finally''' broken the famed "no main character dies in ''OnePiece''". That person was [[spoiler: Luffy's (adoptive) brother Ace]]... and what face does [[spoiler: Luffy]] make to convey this tragic loss?
