* In ''Death Note'', when L hears the word 'Shinigami', he throws his hands in the air and falls out of his chair. Narm for this troper because of the lack of momentum to propel him out of said chair. YMMV.

** Later, we get to know Nickel the Electrician, a hitman who kills people by using his electrical and mechanical expertise in creative ways. There's nothing silly about that, but his other big thing is his bizarre compulsion to ''piss on his target's car''. Nickel happens to be diabetic, by the way, which is how Sleepy knew he was gunning for him - because he could ''smell the sugar from Nickel's insulin in the urine.'' After Nickel's "exploding light bulb" trick doesn't work, his next plan involves strapping a firearm of his own design to a stray cat.

* ''MadBull34'' usually gets a pass because of NarmCharm, but the second chapter of the manga is... special. A junkie going through withdrawal takes a neighbor hostage in his apartment. Aside from his being fat for a long-term heroin junkie, what he does with the girl is ridiculous. Facing out the window with shotgun in hand, he forces her to grab his testicles and squeeze as if she wanted to crush them - reasoning that such intense pain will take his mind off the whole "my desire for smack is driving me mad" thing. Whatever you're imagining, it's more absurd than that. Subsequent chapters feature their fair share of bizarre and hilarious content, but this is the, ahem, high point.

Added DiffLines:

* ''{{Gyo}}'' is full of Narm. Pretty much everything from the second chapter onward can be construed as completely hilarious. Anything involving a shark is guaranteed funny, as is the fish in the garbage bag. The second volume is replete with scenes of [[spoiler: infected humans]] burping and farting everywhere, and even a death stench circus. One wonders how it is even possible to be scared by this, apart from the BodyHorror.

* Chapter 349 of ''{{Bleach}}'' may well have set a record for the longest BigNo in a manga, going on for two pages and forcing the speaker ([[spoiler:Orihime]]) to take a breath before concluding it. Granted, the event in question ([[spoiler:Ichigo seemingly dying]]) is extremely traumatic, but {{Big No}}s are seldom effective.
** One moment toward the end of the Soul Society arc was turned into a Narm by sub-par amateur translations of the manga chapter. [[spoiler:As Aizen advances on Rukia, who's practically paralyzed by his spiritual pressure, he tells her, "You must be paralyzed by my overwhelming power."]] Seriously, everyone knew he was a narcissist, but...
** In Chapter 356, Barragan explains that [[spoiler:each Espada embodies an aspect of death]]. While most of them are serious [[spoiler: (destruction, rage, despair, sacrifice, etc.)]], he then reveals his to be ''[[spoiler:old age]]''. Although it is [[spoiler:an aspect of death]], it seems out of place and breaks the serious tone.
*** In RealLife, society has tried to [[spoiler: decouple death from old age]] for a long time. Thus, this is like the MobileSuitGundam anime's salt shortage.
** While Bleach has many strange titles in English, the title of Chapter 363. "Superchunky From Hell," stands out as bizarrely funny, even though it's referring to [[spoiler:a large monster that comes to the battle and that may be the one that appeared at the end of the Soul Society arc]].
** Earlier, when [[spoiler:Byakuya Kuchiki kills the Espada Leroux Zommari]], Zommari loses it and starts yelling for Byakuya to... er... "Take my love from me!" It makes more sense if you know that they had a voodoo-based power called "amore," which is funny to begin with.
** In the latest chapter, when [[spoiler: everyone is fighting against Aizen all at once,]] Hitsugaya says he wants to [[NeverSayDie "do]] [[UnfortunateImplications violence"]] to Aizen.
*** A line victim of a BlindIdiotTranslation.
*** Goes straight into FunnyAneurysmMoment when [[spoiler: Aizen tricks Hitsugaya into impaling ''Momo'',]] though.
*** But [[spoiler: Toshiro's reaction to accidentally stabbing Momo]] is beyond overstated. He may have beaten [[spoiler:Orihime]]'s two-page [[BigNo BIG NO!]]
** In chapter 393, it was revealed that [[spoiler: ''Wonderweiss'''-- as in the dopey, childish Arrancar-- exists solely [[PowerNullifier to counter the burn-you-to-an-absolute-crisp abilities]] of ''[[BadAssGrandpa Yamamoto]]''. It did not help that Wonderweiss's new form looks like ''a butterfly''.]]
** 403. What's supposed to be a CMOA for [[spoiler: Aizen]] for surviving [[spoiler: Urahara's spell spam]] is ''ruined'' by this person's [[http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/403/06/ RIDICULOUS]] [[spoiler: new form]]. Seriously, WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT OMG WTF BBQ.
** '''The Heart'''. This phrase gets an entire page all to itself. That might be overkill.
** Dunno about you, but [[spoiler: Tousen]]'s mask is making [[{{Orihime}} me]] LOL so hard. Seriously, his boss and leader [[spoiler: Aizen]] is TheChessmaster, but this is ''ridiculous''. Nice [[strike: penis]] bishop mask, [[spoiler: Tousen]]!
*** And earlier, his [[spoiler: Hollow mask]] that looks a lot like... a penis. It may have been a chess reference (to the bishop piece), but still...
**** Until it becomes NightmareFuelUnleaded by [[spoiler: spouting a mouth all of a sudden]]. AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
** "I can see you...I CAN SEE YOU, KOMAMURA! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
** The series has spent the past 2-3 years building up to [[spoiler: Aizen using [[AWizardDidIt a super-powered plot device]] to... [[MundaneUtility grow himself a mullet]].]]
** ... And before that, we got the penultimate form of all evil in the universe, a tube sock, or as other people have called it "the walking condom."
*** And as of 415, his powers went BeyondTheImpossible... [[spoiler: and made him a fairy. With butterfly wings and all.]] Seriously, TiteKubo, WTF ARE YOU THINKING?!
*** For what it's worth, Kubo ''finally'' managed to nail the OneWingedAngel thing in the iteration after that. [[spoiler:EldritchAbomination Aizen]] is genuinely [[strike:scary]] [[HighOctaneNightmareFuel terrifying]].
** Aizen's always been a smooth talker. His interaction with Ichigo in Chapter 388 has him talk about how he could easily stab Ichigo through the heart but he [[FeedMe lays it on so thick]], it comes off more like [[FoeYay he's hitting on him]] than threatening Ichigo with death.

* Although, [[YourMileageMayVary to some]], all manga can be construed as {{narm}}y, what can really ''kill it'' for fans and {{otaku}} alike, is when the magazine editors for which the manga is originally released take it upon themselves to add more to the suspence of the already CliffHanger-ish ending. ** Namine has a ''safety hat'' in one scene with 'SAFETY FIRST' scrawled across it in big letters. This happens during the fight between Axel and Marluxia, which is also Narmtacular; the two randomly shout out battle cries, including "PSYCHE!"
** Not only is the Riku vs. Zexion fight even more of a CurbStompBattle than it was in the games (which is saying quite a bit), but also, Zexion's last words are "Cut off... literally!", an inappropriately timed joke that detracts from the scene.
