** ''Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure'' fans can sum this up with two words: "Duwang scans". [[labelnote:note]]The notoriously awful translation of Part 4, thus named because "Morioh" - the town where the arc takes place - was translated as "Duwang" because the translator used the Chinese reading for the characters[[/labelnote]]

* ''Manga/{{Fourteen}}''. Even the description of the plot puts this manga in narmtopia. The manga takes place in the future in a chicken meat growing factory, where a lump of chicken flesh transforms into a supermutant chicken man named "Chicken George". ([[NamesTheSame Yes,]] [[Series/{{Roots}} really.]]) He goes on a mission to take revenge on humanity for ruining the planet. This was written by the author of the creepy horror manga "Manga/DriftingClassroom".

* Samus repeatedly screaming "Kill Me!" at the end of the Franchise/{{Metroid}} manga's 9th chapter and at the beginning of the tenth. Her white eyes, occasionally elongated "Me"s, and being OutOfCharacter make this scene hard to take seriously.

* The (highly controversial) manga ''Kodomo No Jikan'' is an odd example of this trope, as it's not any particualr ''scenes'' that are {{narm}}y but the greater elements in the series as a whole. The series is mostly a drama about elementary schoolgirls growing up, with a crapload of trashy LoliconAndShotacon {{fanservice}} mixed in. This makes the series as a whole ''very'' narmy, as the lolicon bits detract from the serious, ([[{{Melodrama}} melo]])-dramatic storyline, and vise versa as well.

* ''Manga/MiraiNikki'' is full of this because the art isn't well-drawn in the early chapters. [[http://www.mangahere.com/manga/mirai_nikki/v01/c001.1/24.html This]] is a particularly lovely example of Narm in the series.

* ''Narm/DeathNote''

* In Manga/DeathNote, the scene at the beginning of chapter 61 in which [[spoiler: Near and Mello are informed of L's death]] is hard to take seriously because Mello looks totally psychotic and Near looks like he wasn't paying attention.
** When L hears the word 'Shinigami', he throws his hands in the air and falls out of his chair. Narm for this troper because of the lack of momentum to propel him out of said chair.

* In ''Manga/ThePrinceOfTennis'', specifically New Prince of Tennis, when Atobe evolves to get his xray vision, it's really not a CrowningMomentOfAwesome.

* There's a scene in the ''GetBackers'' manga where ActionGirl Himiko just finished an emotional fight, defeating the guys [[spoiler:who killed her new friend Miyama, who had just asked her to use her perfumes and witchcraft to save the Kiryuudo.]] As soon as she sees Ban next, she jumps into his arms and hugs him in distress. Even if we ignore the lingering ClothingDamage, the gratuitous PantyShot while she's flying in mid-air ''kills'' any emotional effect the scene might have had. Except immature giggling.
** That's par for the course on ''GetBackers''. What about the early issue that had a panel of Himiko getting all hot and bothered while Ban searched through her clothes for an antidote to her poison? [[SarcasmMode Because narrowly surviving a high-speed automobile crash and getting manhandled by the person who killed her brother is a sure way to turn a woman on.]]

** ''Any'' scanlation where the scanalator uses internet slang to save space. How can you take a [[OnePiece fight with a giant-dwarfing zombie]] seriously when half the crew reacts with "OMG!"?
