* Manga/MyHeroAcademia: Endeavor the Flame Hero. Outsite home he is always on fire. It’s most dramatically shown during his battle with All For One and some Nomu. He propels himself skyward in a jet of flames and incinerates the Nomu with Plus Ultra Prominence Burn, a hugely powerful explosive release of flame.

* In ''Fanfic/TheMoonstoneCup'', the ActionPrologue features a dragon the size of a mountain facing down Twilight Sparkle, intent on sending her to [[ManOnFire Mare On Fire]] for however long it takes to turn a pony into a fine sprinkle of ash. '[[OhCrap Its breath died away. Its one good eye opened wide in shock as Twilight, with no help from the dragon, burst into flame.]]'
* In ''Fanfic/RitesOfAscension'', during a coup, Celestia becomes this. In her case, she's ''holding back''. Unlike Luna, who's WeakButSkilled relative to her (and ONLY her), Celestia's last time in a full-on fight made the Glass Desert.

* In the ''Fanfic/BloodBondBloodOmenSeries'', Shego occasionally manifests a SuperpoweredEvilSide (yes, even more superpowered and ''far'' [[OmnicidalManiac more evil]] than her usual self), which usually manifests as "the Archangel of Poisonous Radiation", which starts as FlamingHair but which quickly becomes this.

* The climax of the ''Manga/ViolenceJack: Hell's Wind'' OVA has Jack burst out of the ground covered in flames to utterly thrash the Hell's Wind biker gang after one of them tries to kill him by shooting a [[CoolGuns/RocketsMissilesAndGrenadeLaunchers rocket-propelled grenade]] at him which sends him into a tanker truck that then promptly explodes.

* [[Creator/ElijahWood Sigma]] from the 10th season of ''Machinima/RedVsBlue'' looks like he's either on fire or made of fire.

* From what little of it is seen, Ilulu's full dragon form in ''Manga/MissKobayashisDragonMaid'' appears to be covered in (or possibly even made of) black flames.

* From ''WesternAnimation/{{Ben10}}'', [[PlayingWithFire Heatblast]] takes the trope UpToEleven by ''being made'' of fire. He is also partially made of rocks that give him a lava-like appearance to boot.

** Vessels of the Phoenix tend to exhibit this, from Jean Grey to Rachel Summers to Hope Summers to [[ComicBook/AvengersVsXMen the Phoenix Five]] (or [[ComicBook/WhatIf Magneto]]) to [[spoiler:Quentin Quire]].
* Fire from Creator/DCComics. Her fire is green and [[CensorSteam covers her naughty bits]].

* ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'': Some Fire-type Pokémon are covered in flames, like Moltres or Rapidash. Several Fire-types have this to a lesser degree, like Emboar (who has a ''beard'' of flame) and Normal Mode Darmanitan (who has flaming eyebrows.) The moves Flare Blitz which deals a lot of damage at the cost of recoil to the user, Flame Charge which boosts speed every time it's used, Heat Crash (aforementioned Emboar's signature move) which deals more damage the heaver the user is than the opponent, and Flame Wheel involve tackling the opponent while in this state. Also, some of the Pokémon that fit this trope have the Flame Body ability, which has a chance of [[StandardStatusEffects burning an opponent]] who makes direct contact with it.

* In ''Webcomic/GirlGenius'', the Torchmen, a swarm of flying [[KillerRobot clanks]] that serve as Mechanicsburg's main air defense system, are so named because they fly about [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20080730 while on fire]].
