* Inverted in the ''Series/{{Monk}}'' episode "Mr. Monk and the Big Wedding," where it was a bachelorette party. Basically, the party had the women hiring a male stripper (in cop uniform), where he asks the hostess if [[ForeShadowing she has been a bad girl]]. However, it had to be cut short because Monk arrived to take Natalie, as one of the people at the mud baths discovered a dead body in one of the stalls, also taking the stripper with him ([[StripperCopConfusion having mistook him for an actual cop]], with the latter being at least familiar enough with cop-terms to understand the seriousness of the situation.)

* On ''RockosModernLife'', Filburt's friends throw him a bachelor party at an ice cream parlor. There's a (fully-clothed) woman dancing on top of the "bar," and everyone ends up with [[DrunkOnMilk an ice cream hangover]].

* In ''Series/ChicagoFire'', Mouch is forced by Trudy to have her brother Larry be his best man over his best friend Herrmann, who then starts planning what appears to be the most boring bachelor party ever (at least, to a non-nerd). Everyone goes along with this to support Mouch, except for Herrmann, who constantly complains. In fact, Herrmann claims that this is probably Trudy's idea to keep the bachelor party from getting too crazy. When everyone arrives to the hotel room, it turns out that Larry has actually thrown a crazy party with bikini-clad girls, music, and drinks. Not only was Herrmann in on the whole thing, but it was Trudy's idea.

* Luke Skywalker's in ''ComicBook:StarWarsUnion'' erupts into a BarBrawl when some disgruntled moffs try to crash it. It's also kinda expected when Han Solo and another friend set it up at a seedy bar. It's G-rated, also.

Recently, it's been increasingly popular in comedy to show the guys trying to have a wild stag party, only to have it fall apart in a disappointing fashion. The stripper is over the hill, or a guy. The [[StripperCopConfusion stripper dressed up as a police officer is an actual policewoman]]. The car breaks down. Etc. Often, while the guys expect that the women are having something akin to a bridal shower or a Tupperware party, they're having a bachelorette party as wild as what the men were hoping for.

* In the video for Creator/JaggedEdge's "Let's Get Married" (the original, not the remix), a man named Trent proposes to his girlfriend Sarah, who expresses some concerns that he's not really ready just yet, because he has a habit of putting his friends and fun stuff before her. One of his friends throws him a wild bachelor party the night before the wedding, and Sarah is picking out her wedding dress.[[note]] Even though dress-shopping would ''realistically'' be done ''several'' months ahead of the wedding, due to the time needed for the dress to come in and any fittings and alterations that need to be done.[[/note]]. Sarah finally picks out the dress she wants, and calls Trent to let him know and get some emotional support, but at that moment one of the strippers gets on his lap and hangs up his phone. Sarah, feeling very hurt, breaks off the engagement, leaving Trent looking at the ring and contemplating WhatCouldHaveBeen on the steps of the church. [[spoiler: The video rewinds back to the bachelor party, only this time Trent takes the call despite his friends' teasing, and gives Sarah the reassurance she's looking for, and the wedding goes off without a hitch.]]
