Eris and Shizuku are paired together in the eighth game which gave that game the [[FanNickname nickname]] of "''Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o: Hair Fetish Edition''".

** Princesses Euphemia and Nunnally also have this (which makes Euphemia's PaperThinDisguise habit sort of glaring, considering hers is also ''[[YouGottaHaveBlueHair bright pink]]''). And though he wears it in those infamous rolls at the time of the series, Emperor Charles used to have his hair at least past his waist, similar to his daughter Nunnally's style.

* Subverted by "The Puerto Rican Princess" Amber Rodriguez. While she has let her hair get very long, does have the sense to tie and retrain it for her matches. All the same, her monstrous([[MulticoloredHair if well cared for]]) ponytail flailing around through lockups and pin attempts is a sight to behold.

* In the Greg Mandel trilogy by Creator/PeterFHamilton, teenage heiress Julia Evans grows her hair long because she's CompensatingForSomething, having been overshadowed all her life by her MsFanservice best friend. She's gained a lot more confidence by the second novel, but having spent a decade growing her hair to her waist she's not going to get it cut now, especially given that a lot of girls are copying the "Julia Evans hairstyle" now that she's famous.

** [[WitchSpecies Patchouli Knowledge]] has been noted[[note]] In ''Perfect Memento in Strict Sense''[[/note]] to look exactly like a human, aside from her long purple hair.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Tupu}}'': Tupu has hair that reaches her ankles, and she gets annoyed when people suggest that she gets it cut.

* Tsubasa Kazanari from ''Anime/SenkiZesshouSymphogear'' has a waist-length side ponytail. Maria Cadenzavna Eve's hair on the other hand probably reaches her hips. The hair of Chris Yukine reaches her thighs, and Saint-Germain's hair is probably as long as Maria's but even thicker.

* Almost everyone in ''[[Manga/SaiunkokuMonogatari The Story of Saiunkoku]]''. Even the men. '''Especially''' the men. The only exceptions are the cute boy Eigetsu and his LoveInterest Korin, and they're well on their way, as he usually ties his up in a ponytail and, though we never see it down, hers is long enough to pin up elaborately.

* Winnowill from ''ComicBook/ElfQuest'' has a mane of ultrafine ebony hair that exceeds ankle-length by several feet and trails after her on the floor (she typically carries it draped elegantly over one arm, to make it easier to manage), as does the minor character Newstar after a point. Clearbrook's braid, at its full length, extends to her knees by Shards. And Timmain's hair also doubles as GodivaHair on several occasions. In all these cases the extreme length is made much more plausible by the character's very long lifespans--Winnowill is ''thousands'' of years old; plenty of time to grow her hair any length she likes.
* Rapunzel when she appeared in ''{{ComicBook/Fables}}''. Because she was cursed, she couldn't stay in place around the mundies for too long and had a rather modern twist to her curse... her hair was cut several times a day, then donated to a wig factory; and the people there thought she was a colony of Amish girls.
** It proved to be quite an interesting case of BlessedWithSuck. Rapunzel makes quite a lot of money selling her hair, she makes three sets of hair several feet in length a day that are completely undamaged from wear and tear or cosmetics. Unfortunately she can barely enjoy her fortune since she's not allowed to be in the normal world for more than three hours at a time and cannot stay in the same place for more than an hour.

** [[spoiler:After merging with Goops, Tessa]] gains this later. When asked in a Q & A whether she's concerned about dirt getting in it, she merely responds "what do you think magic is ''for''?"

* ''Webcomic/SleeplessDomain'': The mysterious girl who appears in the Dream and grants powers to {{Magical Girl}}s has light golden hair that is ''extremely'' voluminous, and reaches all the way down to her dress.

** In ''Anime/LoveLiveSunshine'', there's Riko, Kanan, and Dia. Other long-haired girls in Aqours such as Yoshiko and Hanamaru doesn't count since their hairstyles didn't even reach their waist. Also, Mari's hair length [[DependingOnTheArtist varies so much]], but the most common is just at medium length.

* Fanfiction author [=KhaosOmega=] takes this UpToEleven with several characters, especially when a spell created by a female who already had this on her debut and a hair product created by the titular Amethyst Angel in her youth are combined.

** After having the spell employed, Hollie Brazie is shown to possess this trope. By 2678 (when it's revealed the hair product Amethyst, her sister-in-law through Jet, is also present) her hair's gotten long enough that she starts wearing her many high heels with less frequency as her hair is past the point where the combo of heels and a ponytail (which she only ever bothered with when in heels) doesn't keep it off the ground.
