A character delivers a OneLiner ([[BorrowedCatchPhrase sometimes a]] CatchPhrase), especially as the punch-line to a meaningful speech. The other characters repeat it in turn, indicating their agreement.

* "We live for the one, we die for the one." in ''Series/BabylonFive'', where it is the last line of the Ranger [[CatchPhrase motto]].

* On ''Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine'', the [[ProudWarriorRaceGuy Jem'Hadar]] often do this with their CatchPhrase:

* In ''Film/Ghostbusters1984'', there is an exchange between Ray Stanz and Winston Zeddemore about the possible implications of the fact that they've been ''really'' busy lately. It ends with Stanz quoting [[Literature/TheBible Revelations 7:12]]: ''"And I looked, and he opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake. And the sun became as black as sack cloth, and the moon became as blood."''. Especially common during a RousingSpeech. Not to be confused with OneLinerNameOneLiner, which is when the ''same'' character repeats the line. Compare PhraseCatcher, when the echo is not welcomed by the catchphraser.

* ''GilmoreGirls'' often have Rory and Lorelai echo each other's [[OneLiner one liners]] for comic effect.

* ''Series/{{Lost}}'' has this with Jack's conclusion of a speech ("If we don't learn how to ''live together''... we're gonna ''die alone''"), used six times so far, the most memorable ones being the one used in the page quote, and Kate replying to Sawyer's "It's every man for himself!" (Jack's original speech included: "Every man for himself is not gonna work!").
** Also from ''Lost'', "Don't tell me what I can't do!" is Locke's catchphrase, but it's used many times during the series, sometimes by other characters and sometimes with little alterations.
