*** It does, because the immunities make no logical sense. A ghost is immune to physical attacks like punches and kicks, but isn't immune to an equally physical flame? Why? Does the flame have an astral projection that somehow affects ghosts when a living being doesn't? Dark type creatures are immune to psychic attacks- one of which is physically throwing the target across the room. They should not be able to simply take no damage from ''that.'' And yet, somehow, their hitpoints are unaffected. Birds and flying-type creatures are magically unaffected by Ground's special attacks, even when those same special attacks work on other flight-capable creatures.
**** Ghosts aren't supernatural quite so much as gaseous, so punches and kicks go right through them but fire can still hit A-OK. Psychic-type attacks aren't specifically stated to be throwing your enemies across the room, they're just mind-affecting attacks, which Dark-types are immune to for some reason (check the WMG page, which I think has something on that). Non-Flying types that are capable of flight usually have the Levitate ability, which does make them immune to Ground attacks.

** ''Starting'' Exalts can, and should, have at least one perfect defense capable of blocking ''any'' attack. High-level characters and really tough {{NPC}}s will have scene-length perfect defenses, which means basically they cast a spell at the beginning of combat and they're completely invulnerable for the whole "scene" (combat). These are in place to stop a group of beginner PCs from just marching up and [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu punching out]] the [[EldritchAbomination various horrors]] that infest the ''Exalted'' universe.

* In ''SidMeiersAlphaCentauri'', the Secret Project The Hunter-Seeker Algorithm renders all your bases and units completely immune to all Probe Team activity (i.e. espionage) whatsoever. Naturally this makes it a must-have for the [[MadScientist University]], whose emphasis on freedom of speech, research, and inquiry (ForScience!) means that their government leaks like a sieve. The same is true for any faction running the University's preferred Social Engineering choice, the Value of Knowledge (same reasons, same effect).
