* ''ComicBook/WonderWoman'' [[ComicBook/WonderWoman1942 Vol 1]]: Diana Prince is a well manicured, glasses wearing, prim, modest secretary whose unbuttoning is part of her transformation into the titular hero.

* Literature/TheDresdenFiles book ''Literature/DeadBeat'' has Sheila, an assistant in a bookshop (close enough to a librarian,) who is first described as having [[PrimAndProperBun a bun held in place by pencils]], [[{{Meganekko}} glasses]], a [[SweaterGirl quite well-filled sweater]], "[[GirlNextDoor a heart-shaped face that was more attractive than beautiful]]" and a [[CuteBookworm smudge of ink on her chin and hand]], which sounds like a textbook case. [[spoiler: The discovery that she is actually a form taken by the FallenAngel Lasciel makes this an InvokedTrope, probably taken directly from PopCulturedBadass Harry's familiarity with it]].

* Subverted in ''ComicBook/LePetitSpirou'': The school librarian is a hideous old crone, [[AbhorrentAdmirer hopelessly in love]] with the equally repulsive gym teacher Mr. Mégot. Somehow, the hunky shop teacher is insanely in love with her, but she refuses his advances.

* The woman in Toto's "Africa" video.

* Lisa of ''VideoGame/GenshinImpact'' is definitely the original FanService character of the game. Both her outfits accentuate her bust (one of the biggest in a game name for its waifus), and her birthday is none other than 6/9. Her Japanese climbing voice is also notorious for what it sounds like. She is also a ScaryLibrarian.

* Grace Nakanmura from ''VideoGame/GabrielKnight'' the AdventureGame[=/=]{{Horror}} series fits this to a T. Especially in the first one.

* [=TeeTee=] in ''VideoGame/MonsterRancher 4'', MsFanservice when you meet her, ends up working for a scholarly type of guy at one point and tries to pull off this trope by adding the librarian with the clothes and letting her own looks supply the "hot".
* The Professor from ''VideoGame/{{Contact}}'' reacts to Terry's apparent crush on Nadia by saying she has a sort of "Evil Librarian" vibe to her.
* Yuuko from ''VisualNovel/KatawaShoujo'' is one of these when she's not working at the café.

* ''VideoGame/TheMatrixPathOfNeo'' has an unnamed hot librarian potiental. She has the glasses, wears a tight, brown skirt-suit and has her hair up in a bun.
* ''VideoGame/HarvestMoon'':
** Mary from ''VideoGame/HarvestMoon64'' and ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonBackToNature'' is the local lbrarian and is marriageable. She is a CuteBookworm with glasses who also writes books in her spare time. Aside from the protagonist, Harris and Gray find her attractive and can marry her.
** Maria from ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonMagicalMelody'' is also a "cute librarian". Her original role in the [[VideoGame/HarvestMoon1 first game]] was that she used to hang around the local church, however as ''Magical Melody'' lacks a church for plot related reasons she was [[CompositeCharacter mixed]] with Mary (who is her granddaughter). Like Mary, she isn' designed particularly sexy but is still an attractive woman and a bachelorette option.

* Best FilmNoir example: the rare-books shop girl Marlowe encounters in ''Film/TheBigSleep'', who whips off her glasses, lets her hair down and closes up the shop suggestively (with Marlowe still in it) at the end of her scene. Oddly enough, this scene, and the one with the taxi driver offering Marlowe her number, don't happen in the book, where Marlowe's [[ChasteHero ability to control his sexual desires]] is a big part of his character. However, even in the book, Marlowe notes that the bookshop clerk is [[MatzoFever very good-looking for a Jewish girl]], so the trope stands. Marlowe is very much in control in the movie as well; he's just luckier.

* On the Literature/{{Discworld}}, Sacharissa Cripslock (introduced in ''Literature/TheTruth'') is a prim and severely-dressed young woman who impresses her new boss, newspaper editor William de Worde, as no more than average-looking. However, he eventually realizes that she is in fact stunningly beautiful ''if considered over several centuries'' -- the equivalent of a Renaissance face, pre-Raphaelite eyes, Classical figure and, for some reason, "good medieval ears". And ''that'' as just her face; her body featured "[[BuxomIsBetter a well crafted supply of other features that never go out of fashion at all]]", and for some reason she seemed to think that wearing extremely plain dresses would ''downplay'' this fact.

* ''Film/PromWars'': The bespectacled Tess is fairly pretty, but spends more time reading, studying and talking about college applications than she does pursuing girly things, especially compared to her roommates.

** Fred from ''Series/{{Angel}}''. She was an actual librarian, too. Also a HotScientist.

* This is one of the two most common interpretations of Koakuma from ''Franchise/TouhouProject'', as an orderly and shy aide of [[MagicLibrarian Patchouli]]. The other interpretation is [[HornyDevil less prude]]. Either version is dressed properly, though.

* Caroline Bliss's take on Miss Moneypenny in the Timothy Dalton ''Film/JamesBond'' entries ''Film/TheLivingDaylights'' and ''Film/LicenceToKill'' evokes this.

* Ruby of ''Webcomic/StickyDillyBuns'' is a job-hunting recent graduate and a {{nerd}}y [[TheIngenue Ingenue]][=/=]BrokenBird with a SourPrude attitude (although she mellows a little as time goes on). Her look heads toward HollywoodHomely, complete with NerdGlasses, although when first seen she's wearing a highly inappropriate short skirt (due to someone misleading her for their own gratification). However, she can't hide the fact that she's slim and graceful, and soon starts having difficulty keeping the lid on her libido.

A very attractive but prim and prudish woman, who would be gorgeous if she would just [[TheGlassesGottaGo take off the glasses]] ([[SexySpectacles or not]]), [[LettingHerHairDown let down her hair]], and unbutton her top button. However, they tend to prefer more intellectual pursuits. Sometime during the course of the season, the character will be forced to do all of these things to solve some sort of problem involving a lecherous man, but will always manage to escape the situation without sex.

He's a charming, attractive guy when he's in his natural habitat, the library. As soon as he steps outside (even just sticking his head out the door while his feet are still inside), he turns into a {{Gonk}} guy with AsianBuckTeeth who's unrecognizable as the same person. At the cultural festival, his classmates try to take advantage of his good looks by having him serve as a butler with books strapped to his body under his uniform to maintain his appearance.
