* Many residents of senior-care facilities meet new sweethearts at said facilities and even get married, having the wedding right in the facility. On a less romantic note, it appears that venereal diseases run rampant at such facilities, as the residents have relationships and flings and assorted other, erm, encounters, and (since the women are all well past childbearing age) often don't see the need for condoms.
