** The washing machine heard in the background of Hannah's ''VideoGame/LANoire'' LetsPlay. Especially {{egregious}} because of how even Simon and Lewis, who just happen to be in the background of Hannah's playthrough, complain about the damn machine.

* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Kim and Duncan. They're just happy to take their time making stuff and Kim... doesn't really know a lot... but when they [[spoiler:declar ''war'' on Hat Films, the two show that, actually, despite it all, they're '''''goddamn bloody deadly.'''''

** Probably one of Simon's biggest Nos comes when [[spoiler: Knight Peculier is killed in ShadowOfIsraphel]].

** Simon and Lewis' [[StalkerWithACrush love of Tina Barrett]]. Especially prevelant in The [=YoGPoD=], where they mention that they regularly check her MySpace.

* EverythingsDeaderWithZombies: Simon apparently once dressed up as MarilynMonroe's corpse.

* OverlyLongGag: At the end of EnviroBear 2000, Simon begins making up a fake URL to download it at. It quickly gets out of hand.

Speaking of games, they publicly support a fan-made platforming game, ''VideoGame/YogscastAndTheMysticalDreamTower'', in beta as of May 2014. Winterkewl Games began work on another game based on the Yogscast's characters, ''Yogventures'', but as of July 2014, [[http://www.reddit.com/r/yogventures/comments/29rduc/winterkewl_games_is_dead/ Winterkewl Games has been hit by financial trouble]], and full ownership to the unfinished game has been relinquished to the Yogscast with its future status unclear. The situation got worse on July 21, 2014, when it was revealed that over [[http://www.pcgamer.com/2014/07/21/yogscast-declines-to-comment-on-claim-it-received-150000-of-yogventures-kickstarter-money/ two-thirds]] of the funds raised during the Kickstarter had mysteriously disappeared. Lewis made a statement on [[http://www.reddit.com/r/Yogscast/comments/2b4jgb/update_from_lewis_re_yogventures/ Reddit]] saying that the initial statement "omitted much", but said that he was not prepared to go into detail on the situation.

* WhyAmITicking: In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeR1RFvzCnU&t=16m47s this]] [[TroubleInTerroristTown TTT]] episode Zylus hears beeping when Ben walks near him so he tells Ben to get away from everyone because there is a bomb on him. Ben does so only for Zylus to realise that [[OhCrap he can still hear beeping]].

** Lalna drops a pretty big one when Lewis [[spoiler: accidentally deletes the core component of his spaceship]] in their GarrysMod Spaceships playthrough.

** During their GarrysMod Spaceships playthrough, Duncan proves to be the only one with even a hope of knowing what he is doing (though his assistant Ridgedog proves quite competent). Lewis [[PlayingAgainstType plays against type]] and becomes TheFool for both that playthrough and the Pod Racers, while Simon is [[ButtMonkey just hopeless]].

** Simon's [[TheKarateKid Mr. Miyagi]] voice somehow turning into a stereotypical Jewish accent.

** Subverted in Rythian's ''VideoGame/XCOMEnemyUnknown'' Let's Play. He names an early-game rookie Some Redshirt, expecting her to die in the next few missions. Not only does she survive, she becomes one of the best units on his team. Even earning the nickname "BadAss".

* BringMyBrownPants: Simon and Lewis notice the unusual running animation of a character in ''DeadIsland''. They theorize that this trope is in effect.

* ShoutOut: Simon yelling [[TopGear Oliver!!]] whilst playing ''DeadIsland''.

** People starting to call Rythian "Crybabia" in Civ games due to the fact that when he played as Arabia, they had to restart the game because he wasn't satisfied with his start location. This somewhat insulting nickname was only further established after Rythian was dissatisfied with his start location yet again, whilst playing as Venice in their next game, wandering around with his settler for tens of turns and getting it captured by barbarians countless times.

* ''WebVideo/HighRollers'', a TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons campaign featuring Mark, Trott, Kim, Katie and Matt

* ChastityCouple: Lewis and Hannah almost never show any signs of being in a relationship and never even reference having any kind of physical romance. The only way most people remember that they are even dating is when it is specifically mentioned by other people.

** Upon being asked if he had any last words in the 'Epic Air Battles & Pincushions' mod spotlight, Lewis responds with "Tell Hannah... that I love her."

** Simon blaming anything that goes wrong even in non-[[BlizzardEntertainment Blizzard]] games on Blizzard or "Blizz", often along the lines of "Oh come on, Blizz", or "What the hell, Blizz!".

The Yogscast are a network of [=YouTube=] video producers, mostly based in their offices in Bristol, but also include people across the United Kingdom and around the world. They produce video game [[LetsPlay Let's Plays]] and the occasional review for entertainment. They are members of Creator/{{Polaris}} from the days when it was [=TheGameStation=]. Begun by Lewis Brindley (Xephos) and Simon Lane (Honeydew) in 2008 as a way of showing Simon's comedic talents to the world, by 2011, the Yogscast grew into multiple channels with different video producers focusing on different sorts of games. The "gaijin rock" band, Music/{{Area 11}}, is also associated with Yog Towers and do their own Let's Plays.

* ColourCodedForYourConvenience: Each Yogscast Website/YouTube page has a different colour scheme for their banners, icons, and prior to [=YouTube's=] One Channel, backgrounds. Sips' is brown, after his [[ColorCodedElements dirt factory]] in ''VideoGame/{{Minecraft}}'' Tekkit, while Rythian's [[PurpleIsTheNewBlack purple]] evokes his ''Minecraft'' avatar's love of magic and his apparent [[HumanoidAbomination Enderman]] heritage.
