VideoGame/SuperMarioRPG, VideoGame/PaperMario, VideoGame/PaperMarioTheThousandYearDoor, and PokemonFireRed are the only games he's played that didn't have notable criticism. VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy didn't either, but it fits the theme due to him playing as Luigi, who is considered more of an underdog compared to Mario.
