* Paulo from BittersweetCandyBowl; while he often acts like a jerk, and hits on girls, deep down inside he is a very nice young man who does care about his friends, and who doesn't need to be thanked for his help.
* Leodegrance from Webcomic/TheBugPond is often portrayed as a vain idiot, but he is shown to genuinely care about the wellbeing of others and is eager to help in most situations.
