* There's plenty of it, and pretty obvious examples too (Brooke Burgess even lampshades in in the commentary track) in ''WebAnimation/BrokenSaints'' between Raimi and Oran. Especially since after [[spoiler: the end, the two of them seem to be solid HeterosexualLifePartners in the most straightforward sense.]]
** They do spend some cuddle time in Raimi's medical fridge. Oran's shirtless too. Yeah, all right, so they were only in there [[spoiler: because Oran threw Raimi in with him last-second to avoid being fried by the EMP blast that hit Raimi's apartment.]] But try telling fangirls that.

* ''WebAnimation/HomestarRunner'' once said that his best friend Pom Pom "hewped me out of some pwetty tight jams, and some pwetty tight pants, awthough that onwy happened once." Also, apparently, Coach Z is Bubs' ''wife''.
** There's also the Strong Bad e-mail [[http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail130.html do over]], in which Strong Bad imagines Homestar (dressed up as The Cheat) falling in love with him.
** In [[http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail99.html different town]], Strong Bad imagines Homsar as "a modestly hot girl to get me through the hard times."
** In the recent [[http://www.homestarrunner.com/ween14.html Halloween cartoon]], they go overboard with this, as Homestar refers to (seemingly dead) Pom-Pom as his "best friend and concubine", although he immediately claims he doesn't know what that word means. (Without being prompted by anyone.) More tellingly, he refers to Strong Bad as "Hunky Strong Bad" every single time he talks to him in this episode, after Strong Bad calls himself that once, and is about to say it one last time when a piece of Strong Bad's costume pokes him in the crotch.(While he's wearing daisy dukes, no less.) He also refers to Strong Bad's "sweet rectangular mouth," and tries to get an inflatable (male pronouned) pumpkin's phone number, as lampshaded by Strong Bad.
** This whole vibe used to be more subtle, being at one time played for genuine laughs, and kept to a few awkward moments here and there. Bottom 10 and Long Pants both feature Homestar behaving in an awkward, suggestive manner towards Strong Bad, doing a butt dance in the former case, and showing up wearing the daisy dukes in the latter. Although the bizarrity of Long Pants goes far beyond the psychosexual.
** Furthermore, one of Marzipan's answering machines reveals that Homestar finds Strong Sad's voice attractive; albeit it was when he thought it was Marzipan speaking, but he drops in a "Call Me" to Strong Sad's face long after he apparently realizes his mistake. Conclusion: Homestar is into AnythingThatMoves.

* ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'', [[WorldOfActionGirls unsurprisingly]]. Especially in Volume 2. There's Ruby and Penny's reunion in Episode 3, and then there's Yang and Blake's little heart-to-heart in Episode 6, which has Yang giving her a big ol' hug and telling her teammate that if she gets some rest and comes to the dance later, that she'll save her a dance. It's the wink that sells it. Even better, Blake actually turns up and takes up Yang's offer, even passing up Sun to dance with Yang first.
** And as of Volume 3, we get these little gems:

** Vol. 3, Ep. 3, there's this gem from Weiss' sister, Winter:

** Vol. 3, Ep. 5 has [[{{Tsundere}} Weiss]] performing a HeroicSacrifice to keep Yang from being taken out in the match. Not only does this make Yang [[YouWouldntLikeMeWhenImAngry angry enough to power up all the way]] and stomp their opponents, but she immediately rushes to Weiss's side and holds her in a ''very'' tender embrace asking if she's alright.
** A much darker and more tragic example from the last two episodes of Volume 3. Adam Taurus makes an appearance and vows to Blake to destroy everything she loves. Cue Yang walking in, and then [[spoiler:[[MoralEventHorizon cue Adam stabbing Blake to goad Yang and then slicing Yang's arm off]]]].
** In the volume finale, we're treated to the sight of [[spoiler: an exhausted and wounded Blake lying next to an unconscious Yang, holding her hand and tearfully apologising]]. Then later, near the end of the final episode of Vol. 3, Yang was most broken up [[spoiler: about Blake running away without any explanation]] and she sounded close to tears when she tells Ruby this. The fact that Yang's situation here mirrors [[GenerationXerox Taiyang's relationship with her mother Raven]] helps.
** Don't forget Sun and Neptune, who share quite the bromance. Their voice actors even decided the official ship name.

* In ''WebAnimation/DeepSpace69'', Jay and Hamilton, as HeterosexualLifePartners, come off like this at times. In one episode, Jay straight-up flashes his penis to him asking for an opinion like it's a totally normal thing to do, while Hamilton is disgusted. He also seems legitimately attracted to Hamilton's crossdressing in one episode and refers to him as a 'sexy lady'.
* ''WebAnimation/RWBYChibi'' has plenty of this, which is unsurprising considering [[HoYay/{{RWBY}} how much]] its [[WebAnimation/{{RWBY}} parent series]] has.
** Blake is often seen reading in the strangest situations, all of which centre on Yang in some way. She will read on Yang's bed, or when Yang is casually bench-pressing her. On one occasion, she is reading while in a criminal line-up but stops to admire Yang, who is working out in the same line-up. And then there is the matter of ''[[{{Filth}} what]]'' she tends to read in such cases.
** There is a running joke about Blake and Yang's bed. No matter what happens in the girls' room, Blake either starts or ends up on Yang's bed. When the team pillow fights, Blake jumps around the room until she ends up on Yang's bed, patting it and winking suggestively. In various episodes she can often be found reading on Yang's bed and when Yang joins her on the bed during "The Floor is Lava" skit, Blake smiles. In the "Little Red Riding Hood" play, Yang openly flirts with Blake when Blake orders her into Grandma's bed for her scene.

** There's also a running joke about Ruby desperately trying to be Weiss's friend and get Weiss to hang out with her more. In Episode 9, Weiss is trying to study while Ruby pesters her for attention, becoming more and more dejected every time Weiss rejects her. In Episode 21, Ruby tells Weiss she got friendship bracelets. She handcuffs herself to Weiss and sticks out her tongue. It even reaches [[StalkerWithACrush critical levels in Episode 6 of Season 2]].
** "Costume Party" in episode 5 is a shout out to the FanPreferredPairing of White Rose and Bumblebee with Ruby and Weiss switching outfits along with Blake and Yang doing the same.
** "Love Triangle" in episode 10 has Jaune trying to invite Weiss to study together... followed by Pyrrha doing the same with Jaune... then Weiss doing the same with Pyrrha.
** In Episode 13, when Jaune's [[SpinTheBottle spin]] lands on Ren, the latter nonchalantly [[AnticipatoryBreathSpray pulls out a breath freshener and uses it]].
** In Episode 14 Ren drags Neptune along onto the plane to go on vacation with Weiss. He literally hangs off Neptune during the pancake investigation while Neptune strokes his hair.
** During the pillow fight scene in Episode 19, when Blake teleports to avoid Yang's attacks, she winks at her in two occasions.
** Episode 19 gives us some HoYay between Sun, Neptune, and Ren. Neptune and Sun twirl with each other when they find out that the girls are having a pillow fight, and when they stop to assess Ren's response to the news, they remain holding hands. It takes Neptune a few moments to notice and sheepishly let go. When the trio are disappointed by the girls' pillow-fight, they end up having one of their own.
** In episode 24, Neptune interrupts Sun asking Blake to a gun show to insist that he go instead. He reminds Sun that Sun did promise them alone time and that he'd take Neptune to a gun show. Neptune drags Sun off pointing out that gun shows are manly.
** Volume 2, Chapter 3 teases Nuts and Dolts, with Ruby carrying Penny over her shoulder for luck.
** Episode 13 of Season 2 has Taiyang AND Qrow being called in for a Parent Teacher Conference. It takes only a few seconds for them to jump into LikeAnOldMarriedCouple.

* Greasy and Peeper, in the WhateleyUniverse. While there are {{canon}} relationships (like Nikki and Bunny), Greasy and Peeper are supposed to be het. And roommates. And Greasy will do anything for Peeper. And he thinks about Peeper an awful lot. There's also Mule and Folder, which was really subtext-y, right up until [[spoiler: Folder died. Supposedly.]]

* Due to the nature of the handler's writing, Uriel Hunter of ''SurvivalOfTheFittest'' had plenty of {{Subtext}} in his relationship with Jacob Starr (although Starr seemed oblivious to the undertones). This was [[LampshadeHanging alluded to]] in one of the announcements, where three of the terrorists read a particularly bad piece of {{FanFiction}} (a slashfic, obviously) involving the pair. It becomes less hilarious when [[spoiler: the terrorists realise they had accidentally been announcing the fic to the entire island.]] [[BigBad Danya]] is not pleased.

* Several LoadingReadyRun projects:

** Matt and his clone, Eugene, have this whenever Eugene tries to use a [[Franchise/StarWars lightsaber]] against Matt, especially with the [[FreudWasRight phallic]] nature of the lightsaber.

* Daniel and Jonas in ''{{lonelygirl15}}'' attracted much speculation.
** Jonas and Steve in the ''{{KateModern}}'' crossover, which was later [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] by Gavin.

* Dumbledore/Snape and Quirrell/Voldemort in ''AVeryPotterMusical''. Both are very intentional and not at all subtle.

* On ThisVeryWiki: @/{{Zudak}} and @/{{Charlatan}}.
