There's something adorable and touching about [[Franchise/WinnieThePooh Eeyore]] wanting to be with [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Twilight Sparkle]] since she's the first thing that's ever truly made him happy.

* After Dave Berg of "The Lighter Side" fame died, the editors found scripts for another installment of "The Lighter Side" that he had written but was unable to draw before his death. The response was to have several other artists join to draw one strip each from the script. This even managed to bring back a lot of artists who had left in the late 1990s back for a single issue (including Bob Clarke, Jack Davis, and Paul Peter Porges).

* One of Bill Gaines' favourite comics was of a dying man calling his friend close, only to say "Last tag!" before dying. The heartwarming part? As Gaines lay dying in the hospital, his wife reached out, touched him and said "Last tag."
