** A small moment occurs when America takes pizza balls from a vendor, thinking that the food is free there like it tends to be in other Universes. Pizza Poppa yells at her & Strange promptly defends her, saying that she's just a kid & was hungry. The altercation leaves Pizza Poppa hexed to punch himself in the face. America asks Strange if he'll stop in a few min. to which Strange replies he'll stop in three weeks giving an amused smirk as America laughs.

No meta moment, see this query.

** Xavier's whole appearance is a meta example, for those familiar with the Film/XMenFilmSeries. While his previous SwanSong in ''Film/{{Logan}}'' was [[TearJerker/{{Logan}} a hard-hitting]] DownerEnding for his original portrayal, and his death at Wanda's hands later in this film is similarly nightmarish, it's utterly wonderful to see Creator/PatrickStewart playing Xavier as the wise, inspiring mentor we all know and love for one last time.

* As Wanda possesses her Earth-838 counterpart, she sets out to find Chavez. However, she's stopped briefly by Billy and Tommy, who perform a childish song about ice cream. Wanda seems to forget all about her desire to find Chavez at that moment, simply delightful at the prospect of being able to physically be near her children.

* How most of the major characters try and deal with Scarlet Witch. All of them understand that Wanda is a good person who is just dealing with ''a lot'' of emotional problems and she even expresses that she truly doesn't want to hurt anyone if she doesn't need to (except for America who she will kill to get her powers...). They also understand how much influence the Darkhold has on her and they try to get destroy or get rid of the book, not Wanda herself.
