Then in the cutscene after this stage, Rammy shows up seemingly aware that she's late for something, then chews out Lammy for "taking her job". These both heavily imply that Lammy's spirit ending up in hell was completely by accident, and that Rammy was supposed to be transported there instead. Exactly HOW it got mixed up is anyone's guess.
