** When the companions bring the Black-haired Boy to see Casca, he just silently runs to her and dives into her arms.
While it's directly before a very serious reveal, Casca's holding him, Isma and Puck take turns playing with his squishy cheeks.
** A humorous montage ensues of
the Moonlight Child boy meeting and playing with different people around the island. In one panel, the boy wades into a pond where Isma is swimming in mer form and tries to ride on her back; a worried Casca accidentally bumps Isidro off of the log he was standing on, and in the meantime Puck is being manhandled by a crab he reeled in while attempting to steal catch fish.
** While Guts is practicing by himself, the boy crawls inside the cuirass of
the Berserker Armor, complete Armor and tries to walk off in it, despite the bottom barely clearing his feet and his face barely sticking above the neck opening. Guts helps him up after he does a face-plant, and they play at swordfighting with being mostly hidden by the breastplate alone, is nothing short of sticks. Adorable and hilarious and adorable in equal measure.

him. Guts even seems somewhat sheepish about how strongly he had really inspired Isidro.

* Episode 351: Despite what horrors awaits them in the center of Casca's mind, Schierke and Farnese's next major obstacle is... [[GagPenis basically big black penises that attack by spewing white liquid out of their "mouths"]], enough to make even the late H. R. Giger blush. They even encounter humanoids with penis-shaped heads and penises for arms. Of course, when you note that Casca has the same kind of [[NauseaFuel visceral revulsion]] to these things as with the other monsters of the dreamscape, and remember just ''why'' the phallic monsters are there, things get decidedly ''less'' funny.

** During the assult on Doldrey, when Casca has Adon pretty much beaten and on the ropes, he announces there's only one thing left to do, which you might expect to mean he's going to try one of his family's secret techniques, but instead he abruptly drops to his knees and grovels for mercy. ** But haha! Gotcha! It actually ''was'' his secret technique, "furious attack thunderclap burst" passed down by the Coborlwitz family for 1,000 years! The way that Adon goes right back to cackling and congratulating himself immediately after regaining the upper hand through such a humiliating and dirty trick just goes to show that there's no cure for shamelessness.

** Before the group descends the tower's inner depths, Charlotte begs Casca to kidnap her afterwards so that she could be with Griffith. Judeau even ''agrees'' with Charlotte, pointing out that it could give them leverage over Midland while on the lam, but Casca swiftly silences them all by explaining why such an act would be more detrimental to both parties than beneficial. That alone was a CrowningMomentOfAwesome on Casca's part with her deductive reasoning, but it understandably puts Charlotte in a sour mood (refer to temper tantrum in above example). On a second thought, Casca is sympathetic enough to let Charlotte stick around long enough to be with Griffith before the Hawks escapes, which pleases Charlotte enough... but she says that she'll scream again if necessary in her inner monologue.

* In volume 32, after an exhausting but [[CrowningMomentofAwesome kickass]] fight with Emperor Ganishka [[EnemyMine while teaming up with Zodd]], Guts collapses flat, face first, onto the pavement (which is sorta funny in itself). Serpico's commentary?
