* The Scarlet Team and the Netherworld Team fighting Reimu and Marisa, respectively doesn't make too much at first. Then you realize those previously mentioned teams whose members were adversaries who were previously defeated by them in their previous journeys.

* Junko has, contrary to almost all other named characters, no expository BossSubtitles. This is because she has purified herself to the point where "Junko" is all she is. Clownpiece's subtitle, "Fairy of Hell", is just a direct description of what she is with no additional flair what so ever. Junko has purified her, too.

* If one really thinks about it, the series use of the UnreliableNarrator makes a whole lot of sense when looked at from the narrative as a whole. Namely that it has paradoxes like SchrodingersButterfly and UsefulNotes/SchrodingersCat as it's central recurring theme. Remember that those paradoxes only remain as long as they aren't directly observed, and the UnreliableNarrator ties directly into that. If we where ever to know the full truth, then we would observe a state of the paradox and give it form, thus causing it to break down and no longer be a paradox.

* [[RealityWarper Yukari]] has a habit of bringing people she likes into Gensoukyou. And if they don't manage to find the only human village before they are discovered, they will be eaten. No exceptions. In other words, Yukari is behind the disappearance and death of possibly hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Including children. And considering the hands and eyes in her gaps, the ones who died are most likely the lucky ones.
* On the note of Yukari... her abilities. How many boundaries are there that could spell doom? Boundary of fantasy and reality is the quite clear example (and actually is observable in universe as the Hakurei Barrier), but this troper noticed another, more dangerous boundary: Boundary of real and false vacuum. If she wanted to she not only could destroy the world, but the entire universe.

** Well, it's implied Yuyuko was intending to give the spring back to Gensokyo once the cherry tree bloom, actually. She just didn't know the tree was evil.

** Utsuho has an excuse though, since she was [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity driven temporarily mad by the power]] she was given. She wasn't a threat any more once sense was knocked back into her by the player character. The real problem comes with the person who made her this way, [[JerkassGods Kanako]], who originally intended to use her to create a power plant. While that goal in itself isn't really bad, it doesn't change the fact that the events of Subterranean Animism wouldn't have happened if she hadn't tried to turn Utsuho into a living nuclear battery.

* Gensokyou's existence is bound to Reimu's. Then what would happen if an OmnicidalManiac rolled along and decided to go for Reimu as the most efficient way.
** They'll be killed by Reimu (or Yukari), of course. There's a reason no one dare to disrespect her.(one of them is Fantasy Heaven).

Said ghost has such low stats, they will likely hurt themselves more than the opponent from a melee attack. There is nothing keeping you from keeping this child in your prison forever, either. (On a semi-related note, your prisoners are always at 1 HP and need to be healed at the start of the turn after you recruit them, which makes you wonder what the conditions in that prison are like...)

*** Except that's not how Sagume's ability works. Sagume's ability only works on situations of events, so if her ability really worked that way, then some bits of her dialogue (e.g "You're terribly strong.", "The people of the moon aren't aware
of any of this, though.") would've completely changed the storyline.

*** I guess that if Reimu takes a while to have kids (she's still at her 15-20 years), like, at her early thirties, Yukari probably will have to 'remind' Reimu (a variation of MyBelovedSmother [[IWantGrandkids wanting grandkids]], [[JustifiedTrope justified]]) and forcing Reimu to find a (male) love interest (or just adopt a baby, but the first plot has more potential to be funny), to continue the Hakurei lineage or else Yukari will her drop at the nightmare dimension of ''WebAnimation/DiamondInTheRoughTouhou'' (not as a DisproportionateRetribution but as an "incentive"[[note]]Notice the quotation marks[[/note]]).
*** It's more likely that she'd just do something about [[GenderBender the boundary between male and female]] to Reimu, Marisa, or herself (or anyone else in Gensokyo, for that matter) for a night...

Even if the entire Hakurei line is wiped out, and Gensokyo along with it, it's implied or outright stated (I can't remember which) that Yukari isn't native to Gensokyo. As such, she would likely survive, and either [[SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong pull something involving the boundary of past and present]] or [[TheChessmaster manipulate someone else with time powers into doing it for her]]. This might require waiting a few centuries, and possibly being indirectly responsible for said individual gaining time control powers, but it's still probable ''if'' she would survive the destruction of Gensokyo.
** What are you all talking about? It's confirmed that Reimu has [[RealityWarper insane luck and matching intuition]]. Do you remember her homing bullets? That's actually Reimu throwing amulets in whatever direction and getting lucky shots. Her top-class dodging "skill"? It's not skill. As such, her head will ''never'' be hit with anything heavy, she ''will not'' be at her shrine when it collapses, and that maniac will probably choke on a bite of kebab before even reaching Gensoukyo.
