Yorick And Bones: Friends by Any Other Name is a Comic Book by Jeremy Tankard and Hermione Tankard.

Yorick the resurrected skeleton and his dog Bones are invited to a party being held by a group of witches in the woods, which they decide to attend in disguises so Yorick doesn't scare anyone with his appearance. While there, he meets someone who takes a shine to him, but he feels he can't be himself around due to his need to stay in disguise and not scare her.

This experience leaves Yorick questioning himself. Who can he be now, if he can't be Yorick the jester? Well, Yorick is lead by Bones to a graveyard full of living skeletons just like him, who may be able to help him with his conundrum.

The book was published on May 11th, 2021.

Yorick And Bones: Friends By Any Other Name contains examples of:

  • Coat, Hat, Mask: Yorick, when he attends the party, wears a light blue coat, a hat, eyeglasses, and a red scarf wrapped around his face.
  • Jump Scare: Polonius is quite fond of jumping out at people and shouting "BOO!".
  • Rhymes on a Dime: The witches Yorick and Bones meet in the woods tend to speak in rhymes.
  • She Is Not My Girlfriend: Yorick and Veda insist they're too young to marry every time someone suggests it.
  • Witch Classic: The group of witches Yorick meets in the woods are all wearing black robes and black witches' hats. They're introduced standing around a cauldron reciting the "Double, double, toil and trouble" poem, which has soup in it. And while they did summon a huge storm in the area around them, they dispel it once Yorick points it out, and they realize they forgot about it.
