* Speaking of mutants, there's the Mutant Hissi, which sprouts an extra head which, [[DependingOnTheWriter depending on who you ask]], can act [[MultipleHeadCase independently of the original]]. What happens to that second individual if that Mutant Hissi gets re-painted and, thus, reduced to only one head again?

* [[YouAreNumberSix Prisoner Number Five]] was locked up in Darigan Citadel as a lunatic decades ago for insisting that Jelly World exists, but [[RunningGag come on, that would just be silly]]... except, as any user who takes even a cursory look at a list of dailies knows, [[CassandraTruth he was telling the truth]]. Not to mention there are pets who ''live in'' Jelly World, so one would think that one of them would have spilled the beans by now. Who or what exactly is keeping it under wraps?
** Some users have suspected resident [[TheIlluminati Illuminati]] [[{{Expy}} expies]] The Sway, but we'll never know for sure.
* The case of the [[https://bookofages.jellyneo.net/history/old-pets/?species=eyrie Tatsu]] is a Fridge TearJerker. In-universe, they were a species that recently came back from the brink of extinction after a natural disaster, [[HopeSpot but their population was finally starting to make a comeback]]... that is, until they were removed in a measly six months, as [[ReplacementScrappy users complained en masse about the relatively gentle-looking Tatsu replacing the edgier-looking Cerpull]], and then were themselves replaced by the Eyrie. [[YankTheDogsChain So much for that comeback from the brink of extinction]].

*** In some cases, the reasoning for the overzealous censorship falls under not even Fridge Horror; [[AdultFear just plain horror]]. For instance, it was a minor meme in the community about how the word "Uncle" was inexplicably censored for years, until some staff members clarified exactly why -- before that particular word was blocked, it was being used as a code word by [[PaedoHunt some very unsavory users]].

* Go for a scroll through your Safety Deposit Box. Take particular note of all the food you've got stored up; Blumaroo Steak, Squishy Brain Wrap, [[EyeScream Eye Candy]]... All fairly common foods. Probably mass manufactured. Special note goes to the Grundo Stix, with the caption ''"I dont think the Grundo who became this meal did it willingly..."'' * One Mutant Day (August 25th) tradition TNT had was to change the avatars of all pets to its [[BodyHorror Mutant version]] (ex: a Red Scorchio's picture becoming a Mutant for the entire day). It was slightly creepy, especially since TNT did it without warning. But wait, wasn't Dr. Sloth original plan was to turn all Neopets into Mutants? Suddenly, something either mildly amusing or spooky gains a [[WhatIf unsettling]] [[TheBadGuyWins undertone]].

** Remember that he's probably just short due to his species. All members of the same species on Neopets are the same height (with Buzz being the shortest and Eeyries being the tallest). As for the shut eyes, is he an Aisha? 'Cause if he is, that's likely another species trait. And, like you said, he's furry and that colour was just picked randomly. If you're thinking of Shenkuu, if you look under the Book of Ages, you'll see it's not based on Asia today, but it's instead based on ''medieval'' Asia.

* The old, hideously ugly Darigan witch, Morguss, beyond all reasoning, has a daughter, the Court Dancer. Now, one would think, "Whose standards could be so possibly low that he would agree to marry Morguss?" Well, remember that she knows a spell that disguised her equally ugly daughter as a beautiful brown Aisha. If she can magically disguise her daughter, she must know how to do the same to herself. It is entirely possible that she did, in order to acquire a husband (however temporary).

Ehhhh, that specific example seems less like Fridge Brilliance and more like The Dev Team Thinks Of Everything, or just normal programming really.

* In Fall 2010 ''{{Neopets}}'' released the Faerie Ruins plot, which included one where you had to guide the PC through TheDragon's mansion (the second step, for those who played it). Halfway through, I got frustrated and closed the window, only to return to it in the evening. At first I was confused because some powerups and characters were missing. Then I remembered: I'd already completed those steps in the morning. Neopets actually saves your plot progress. Good job, TNT. -greykale
