Removed two disambigs

* ActionSurvivor: Shirai Natsumi has no combat abilities of her own outside of her [[MakeMeWannaShout deafening vocals]], and instead relies on her unwanted Sikigami companions to get her out of danger.

* ActionSurvivor: Shirai Natsumi has no combat abilities of her own outside of her [[MakeMeWannaShout deafening vocals]], vocals, and instead relies on her unwanted Sikigami companions to get her out of danger.

* EvilIsSexy: The females in Drekis' legion embody this trope. For instance, Jon Avalon's wife and [[CoDragons Co-dragon]] Veronica Daemon is described as a sensual beauty who has shades of a VainSorceress coupled with TheVamp, while Avalon's Advocate Kalia is described as [[{{Stripperiffic}} wearing nothing more than floating drapes of silk]] [[ClothingCombat that she uses as her primary mode of attack]]. Aigonis Zekruel's disciple Shurado is a {{BFS}}-wielding swordstress who fights in what's described as a miniskirt and crop top.
** Averted however for female members of The Marauders and Fallen. Despite being also villains, the female members from these two villain organizations also sport outfits that are every bit as modest (though not necessarily practical) as the heroes'.

Written by the FPL member who went under the userhandle ''Robotech Master'', the War of Drekis is probably one of the most ambitious writing projects set in the Website/FantasyPowersLeague's universe. Beginning somewhere in late-2002, and running until October 2010; few, if any of the fan fics could rival it in terms of length and time span. The premise revolves around the GalacticConqueror Drekis, who was seemingly thought defeated in a galaxy-spanning war a century ago - but in reality had established himself in the Nexus, having spent the past decade amassing a new army. With his preparations almost complete, Drekis sets out to claim the Nexus of All Realities for himself, and now heroes and villains alike need to [[EnemyMine put aside their differences]] to face this unprecedented threat. [[http://robotechmaster0.tripod.com/warofdrekis/index.htm Can be read here]], though it's for all intents and purposes a DeadFic [[OrphanedSeries as it was last updated on October 2010]], nearly a decade ago.

!!Tropes found in this fanfic

* ActionGirl: While there are plenty, the most notable examples (who've thus far gotten the most screen time) would be Raea and Telissa.
* ActionSurvivor: Shirai Natsumi has no combat abilities of her own outside of her [[MakeMeWannaShout deafening vocals]], and instead relies on her unwanted Sikigami companions to get her out of danger.
* AerithAndBob: Is all over the place with characters that have completely mundane-sounding names (such as Shirai Natsumi), a mundane first name with an outlandish last name (i.e. Timothy Shinestar) and completely outlandish names. (i.e. Raea Salhalla)
* AnachronismStew: Nations and polities on the Khazan continent can range anywhere from kingdoms ruled by hereditary monarchs with [[MedievalStasis medieval tech levels]], to ultramodern republics with futuristic technology existing side by side.
* TheArchmage: Vincentzo Maiinverno is a self-proclaimed one.
* TheAtoner: Michael Cortelloni - from BadassNormal mob hitman, to telekinetic supervillain and finally a vigilante AntiHero.
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: A universal constant be it within the ranks of Drekis' legions or Khazan's defenders.
* BadassNormal: ActionGirl duo Raea and Telissa have no superhuman or supernatural powers of their own, instead relying on PoweredArmor, guns and their wits to stay ahead.
* BigBad: Drekis, is the main antagonist of the story, an EldritchAbomination who also has elements of an EvilOverlord and GalacticConqueror thrown together.
* BlowYouAway: Tiara's primary powerset.
* BrokenBird: Telissa Ravan, [[DefrostingIceQueen though she's slowly coming out of it]] due to CharacterDevelopment.
* CaptainSuperhero: Captain Khazan.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Raea displays shades of this whenever Timothy is seen in the company of another attractive female, stating that as long as he's with one, she isn't letting them out of her sight for one moment.
* CoDragons: Drekis' generals, and each of them even gets their own QuirkyMinibossSquad to command.
* DesignatedGirlFight: Tiara and Kalia get their own battle sequence.
* TheDeterminator: Both Drekis' forces and Khazan's defenders have shades of this.
** Taken to its [[UpToEleven logical extreme]] by Woose Brain, whose determination allows him to [[RealityWarper warp reality]], granting himself Toon Physics styled NighInvulnerability.
* DoubleAgent: Drekis has planted these within Khazan's leading villain organizations, The Marauders and The Fallen.
* ElitesAreMoreGlamorous: Characters from elite units such as the Khazan Rangers, Khazan Army Mechanized Division and Khazan Mobile Police get significantly more screen time than regular units.
* EnemyMine: Things got desperate enough that Khazan's heroes had to forge a tenuous alliance with their sworn enemies The Marauders and The Fallen, who weren't too pleased with the Drekis Empire themselves.
* FantasyKitchenSink: Par for course for Khazan.
* FlyingBrick: [[MotherRussiaMakesYouStrong Supercomrade]] and Captain Khazan.
* FromBadToWorse: The entire plot of The War of Drekis runs on this. Despite the valiant efforts and noble sacrifices of Khazan's heroes and militaries, [[FailureIsTheOnlyOption nothing they do]] seems to stall Drekis and his minions for long as they [[YouCantThwartStageOne accomplish every single one of their objectives without a hitch]].
* GoodIsNotNice: Vincentzo Maiinverno, despite being a member of The Sentinels, can be a rather [[JerkAss unapproachable person]] due to his InsufferableGenius tendencies and his pampered, self-entitled aristocratic attitude.
* TheHeavy: Despite being of nominally equal standing with the rest of Drekis' generals, Jon "Darkenfire" Avalon deserves this role for the fact that out of Drekis' generals he gets the most screen time and seems to be most actively involved in bringing his master's plans into fruition, and as such has fought the heroes more times than the other generals.
* HollywoodCyborg: Uberman is of the ManInTheMachine variety.
* IFightForTheStrongestSide: The reason given by Alexander Shadowcast and Blitzkrieg when they decide to switch their allegiance from The Fallen to Drekis Empire when presented with an offer by DoubleAgent Seryko Rheomyr.
* AnIcePerson: Sentinel member Yagami Shinsuke and Marauders leader Toc Darkone are prodigies at utilizing the element of ice in battle.
* InstantAwesomeJustAddDragons: If her [[BlowYouAway aeromancy]] fails to get the job done, Tiara has her familiar Neva to summon into battle, a Chinese-styled dragon made of animated solid ice.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Vincentzo - Despite being quite the JerkAss that he is, (see: GoodIsNotNice above) he's also shown to be a man whose heart is in the right place, as he routinely displays a strong sense of Noblesse Oblige and cares about the well-being of his citizens, in addition to possessing a [[PetTheDog genuine respect]] towards Woose's abilities despite the latter's personality often grating on him.
* LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters: A given, since it's a FPL fanfic, featuring not only past and active FPL characters, but also an entire OriginalGeneration cast that are created exclusively for this fic.
* TheMole: Maria Halesinger.
* OldSoldier: Uberman - having been fighting villains on Earth since UsefulNotes/WorldWarTwo, and currently serving on Khazan as the leader of its premier superhero team, The Sentinels. Whether it's Nazis, supervillains or the Drekis Empire, it's all another war for him.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Nearly every superhero and supervillain in the story are referred to using their hero or villain codenames. The only exceptions to this trope being Woose Brain (aka. POWAA!!-Man), and Michael Cortelloni (fka. Ragemaster), who are referred to using their given names rather than codenames.
* PoweredArmor: Telissa and Raea, as well as Uberman; though unlike the first two, [[ManInTheMachine he doesn't have the option of taking his off]].
* QuirkyMinibossSquad: Each of Drekis' generals effectively has one of their own consisting of an Advocate and a Disciple.
* ReptilesAreAbhorrent: The reptillons from Drekis' army are nasty acid-spewing, sword-toting lizard men, while Drekis' general Aigonis Zekruel hails from a race of repiltilian humanoids.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Vincentzo Maiinverno, who happens to be a [[TheArchmage highly-accomplished magus]].
* SensibleHeroesSkimpyVillains: Egregiously so for the females. On the Khazan defenders' side, heroines such as Telissa Ravan and Raea Salhalla being covered from neck-down in PoweredArmour, and Khazan armed forces personnel such as the Mobile Police's Jennifer Chase and the female pilots in the Army Mechanized Division all sporting modest, practical police/military uniforms; which stands in stark contrast to the often {{Stripperiffic}} attires of the females in Drekis' legions.
* SuperheroPackingHeat: Owing to his background as a mobster, [[AntiHero Michael Cortelloni]] still totes around a pistol that he uses rather frequently even after he developed massive telekinetic abilities.
* ThoseWackyNazis: Blitzkrieg is a Nazi SuperSoldier who now works for The Fallen after World War II.
* ThrowAwayCountry: Theneseia's conquest and occupation by [[VainSorceress Veronica Daemon's]] forces took place completely off-screen and was only mentioned in-passing by other characters. The exact details are left entirely up to the reader's speculation.
* VitriolicBestBuds: The entirety of the relationship between Vincentzo Maiinverno and Woose Brain (aka. POWAA!!-Man) can be summed up as such.
* WhipItGood: Two flavors shown, both courtesy of The Marauders - Izohn Falaris' whip, and Razor's bladed chain.
* ZergRush: The main advantage held by Drekis' forces. His monsters can increase their numbers faster than Khazan's defenders can deplete them.
