Oh, and at the end of it all she has him killed in a ''brutally'' horrific manner, in front of all the cast members he'd been treating like dirt up to this point.]]

* MightyRoar: By none other than the king ([[spoiler:and later, [[ScaledUp queen]]]]) of Hollywood roars, ''TyrannosaurusRex.''

** Splashdown is ComicBook/{{Aquaman}} as voiced by AshtonKutcher, and Kate is [[{{Gen13}} Freefall]] as played by KatherineHeigl. Both of them also played a married couple in ''{{Killers}}''.

** [[spoiler:Poor [[EldritchAbomination Dynacide]] gets Worfed by [[ThoseTwoGuys Splashdown and Thunderhead]], though with a little help from DonkeyKong and [[RhinoRampage Rambi]] on the side. And again by T-rex!Violet in Chapter 24.]]

* EverythingsBetterWithMonkeys: DonkeyKong and friends, naturally.

[[TheIncredibles Violet and Dash Parr]], sibling Supers in training, recieve a call from [[VideoGame/{{Portal}} Aperture Science and Technology]] about an important project downtown. What the find is a discovery that will change their life forever -- a cloning facility housing the late Supers from the Golden Era. Narrowly escaping from the lab with their lives, they meet one of the clones, Sarah Squall a.k.a. Stratogale, and help her reunite with the rest of her family.

** In a probable TakeThat against ''JurassicPark III'', [[spoiler:T.rex!Violet brutally kills the ''Spinosaurus'' for trying to eat Jack-Jack, Tony, and Kari.]]

** Thunderhead is [[TheMightyThor Thor]], only [[DumbMuscle dumber.]] He also smacks of [[Disney/TheEmperorsNewGroove Kronk]] in that he is not very smart, is well-chested, and is voiced by PatrickWarburton.

** "I saw the yellow eyes with their [[HellishPupils reptilian slits for pupils,]] and felt a chill of horror running down my spine."
** In general, any EldritchAbomination that turns up to fight the heroes is BOUND to elicit this reaction from everyone in the immediate vicinity, [[spoiler:Dynacide]] being a recurring example.
** [[spoiler:When Apogee first appears, she's already been possessed by Aperture (and it takes a little while for the Parrs to restore her back to normal). Naturally, this causes Colonel Pluck to respond with an understandably frightened, "Oh, ''no!'' [[CaptainObvious It's already started to sink in!"]]]]
** [[spoiler:Both Ripper and Ludlow get a few in later episodes. The most obvious being when Ludlow is confronted by the baby T-rexes. He apparently thinks they are angels about to take him off to the next life, [[KillerRabbit until they reveal their]] [[MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily teeth...]]]]

* SeldomSeenSpecies: Most of the dinosaurs that show up are StockDinosaurs, of course, but who would have expected ''Platecarpus'', ''Ornithocheirus'', and ''friggin' [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mawsonia_(fish) Mawsonia]]'' of all species to have minor roles and cameos?

** PteroSoarer: Despite being billed as a ''Pteranodon'', Adam's pterosaur form [[http://fav.me/d3jrbr5 barely even looks like one.]] However, both he and WordOfGod clearly {{handwave}} this with the [[ItMakesSenseInContext perfectly acceptable excuse]] of being an Aperture bio-weapon.

** There is one minor error on Adam's part, though that can be forgiven courtesy of RuleOfDrama. Adam implies that ''Pteranodon'' lived at the same time as ''Deinonychus'' - while in reality, the latter lived ''[[AnachronismStew 20 million years earlier.]]''

* TickleTorture=/=FriendlyTickleTorture: Glados loves to use this interrogation method on her test subjects. It helps to know that this fanfiction originally stemmed from the [[FetishFuel tickling fandom,]] so it's only natural that there are a few playful tickle scenes as well.

* TheWorfEffect: And ''HOW.''
** The raptors are capable of killing the best of [[GreatWhiteHunter Great White Dinosaur Hunters]] - but that doesn't stop them being defeated by '''children.''' Granted, said children did have superpowers, but still - [[NinjaPirateZombieRobot Raptors with GUNS!]] [[MemeticMutation Y U NO]] KillAllHumans?!

* CriticalResearchFailure: InUniverse example. [[spoiler:Ludlow intends to [[OmnicidalManiac destroy all species apart from humans.]] ''[[CompleteMonster All of them.]]'' Such a {{plan}} will be doomed to fail regardless of whether or not he is stopped in time for two reasons. Firstly, as is pointed out a few times, humans are apex predators and depend on so many nonhuman species that wiping them out would render them extinct by default. Secondly, there are 8.7 ''million'' species, along with 5-10 million bacteria. Add to that the additional fact that at least a few would adapt and survive the outcome, and even a kindergartener's knowledge of biology, [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech and certainly Violet's high-school level tutelage]], would have instantly made such a plan theoretically impossible.]]

* JustDesserts: [[[[RuleOfThree Both of the]] {{Big Bad}}s.]]

* WiseBeyondTheirYears: All of the kids, but Adam in particular. His knowledge of dinosaurs is about neck-and-neck with ''present day'' (i.e. the late 2000's) paleontologists, and he knows the behavior of Aperture's bioweapons like the back of his wing - despite this fic being clearly set in 1980!
