** Medoh, Rudania, Ruta, and Naboris for the ancient Rito, Goron, Zora, and Gerudo sages respectively from ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTearsOfTheKingdom'', due to the masks they wear resembling the Divine Beasts from ''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild Breath of the Wild]]''.

** ''VideoGame/KirbyAndTheForgottenLand'': Tropic Woods, which is a Whispy Woods-esque boss in the tropics, has been called "[[VideoGame/PokemonSunAndMoon Alolan]] Whispy".
