* In ''Machinima/HalfLifeButTheAIIsSelfAware'', the first thing Benrey does is to ask Gordon for his passport, and follow him around and harass him when he fails to produce it, claiming Gordon is a thief and dismissing any attempt Gordon makes to prove he works at Black Mesa, in spite of the massive evidence to the contrary. As he does this, he also tries to talk Gordon into jumping off an elevator to his death, and gets upset when Gordon refuses to. This establishes him as a LawfulStupid {{Jerkass}} with a penchant for {{Gaslighting}}.

* ''Machinima/RedVsBlue'':

** Chaka starts off as a young black teenage boy sharing a room with his unpleasant Gangsta Wannabe older brother, except he's not only becoming a mutant and having to go to a SuperheroSchool but [[GenderBender turning into a girl as well]], because this setting is basically ''ComicBook/XMen'' with the gay rights allegory promoted from subtext to an actual plot point... And '''[[{{Transgender}} she]]''' is [[JumpedAtTheCall absolutely goddamn stoked about it.]] She also [[SassyBlackWoman loudly and angrily calls her brother out on his bullshit.]]

** Church is introduced spying on the Red Team with Tucker and angrily pointing out to Tucker that asking what the Reds and by extension the whole war is pointless, are doing is pointless, since all they ever do is stand around and talk. When Tucker asks [[ComicallyMissingThePoint what they're talking about]], Church declares that he hates him, establishing him as a sarcastic, misanthropic {{Jerkass}} and the resident OnlySaneMan.
** The second episode serves as this for most of the Reds. Sarge makes numerous threats against Grif's life and treats the conflict between Reds and Blues as SeriousBusiness, establishing him as an unhinged BloodKnight with a pathological hatred of Grif. Grif asks somewhat sarcastically if they can go home and calls out Sarge's insane thought process while being ignored, establishing him as Red Team's OnlySaneMan who is too lazy to do anything about it. Simmons goes along with Sarge and caters to his every whim, establishing him as a ProfessionalButtKisser.
** Tucker establishes himself as the resident CasanovaWannabe by complaining that the Red Team has received a car while the Blue Team is only getting a tank, because "[[SkewedPriorities You can't pick up chicks in a tank.]]"

** Church is introduced spying on the Red Team with Tucker and angrily pointing out to Tucker that asking what the Reds are doing is pointless, since all they ever do is stand around and talk, and then declare that he “fucking hates [Tucker]” after he asks what the Reds are talking about, establishing Church as a sarcastic, misanthropic {{Jerkass}} and the resident OnlySaneMan.
