Due to becoming a union actress, Bailey primarily does video game voice overs and western animation nowadays, rarely getting any new anime roles, generally only reprising roles when she does anime. If she does get a new anime role, it's usually with Creator/Studiopolis. She is married to fellow voice actor Creator/TravisWillingham, and they have one son, Ronin.

* ContraltoOfDanger: Due to the number of Action Girls she's voiced, many of her characters she voiced come out this way. That being said, she's capable for using a higher-pitched voice for cuter and younger characters.

* WomanOfAThousandVoices: She has a vast vocal range, voicing many deep-voiced Action Girls and high-pitched cuties, to name a few categories. Just contrast Maka Albarn with Lucina, or even Vex'ahlia with Jester Lavorre.

That sounded kinda insulting to her early work.

Laura Dawn Bailey (born May 28, 1981) is an American actress and voice actress born in Biloxi, Mississippi. Best known for her anime roles (at first, Creator/FUNimation titles but she has definitely moved on), she has also supplied voices in video games and worked as staff on several anime series. If you've played many AAA games in the last few years, you've likely heard her voice, as she's become one of the most prolific female voice actors in the industry since 2010.

** Not so much in her voice roles for whatever reason, but DEAR GOD, does she cuss on Critical Role, especially and unsurprisingly when she's having a bad night with rolls. ClusterFBomb doesn't even begin to do it justice. Cliff Bleszinski once live-tweeted a VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV session between his wife Lauren and Laura, and commented that "the amount of swears coming out of this room would fill enough swear jars to send all of you to college forever."
