* PetTheDog: Exaggerated. After [[spoiler:Kai's return to military school]], the others see cats being drawn to him, revealing his soft side... only for him to be completely buried in them, at which point all emotions turn to concern for his well-being.

* NotSoDifferent: Heine remarks on him being this with Bruno during one of the two's spats--they share the same stubbornness. Licht, for his part, is horrified at the thought of being anything like Bruno.

Heine [[UnstoppableRage went berserk on the guards]] but eventually came to his senses when Viktor’s pleas reached him, and remained distraught over Viktor’s condition as the recovered guards dragged him away.
