* KnifeNut: Cashmere is this. Both her talent display involves knives and she primarily relies on knives during her time in the arena.

* StunGuns: Ennius uses a taser to "motivate" tributes into training and to also discipline them when he becomes the Training Master.

* ConspiracyTheorist: Implied with Lumo. Following his escape, he believes that everything he sees (including Rubius and the Grand Final arena) isn't "real" and that Glitch is an android.

* DyingDeclarationOfHate: Exaggerated with [[spoiler: Glitch]], according to an account by an ancestor of the narrator, who was allowed to watch the finale in Snow Square. [[spoiler: The ancestor said that Glitch swore at President Gaul before the wave consumed her, particularly about how much she hates him and how she did not care for what he had promised her family]].
* KillTally: Both victors do not have kills officially tied to their name. However, Lumo's bullets did kill Rooter and Electress.

* VictoryByEndurance: How both Lumo and Glitch were named tributes for the Grand Final. Glitch was the only survivor of the shooting, while Lumo was the only person who escaped the arena through Jocasta Price's escape graft.

* AfroAsskicker: Octavia is described to have a beige-coloured afro. Subverted during her interview where [[BaldWomen it's shaved off]].

* SoleSurvivor: Downplayed. She's the only District Four Victor left by the end of the pre-Reclamation arc. Justified because she didn't take the offer from the Capitol, and allowed them to reap three girls from her district in her place.

* OCStandIn: Canon doesn't disclose her last name nor when she won her Hunger Games, but she appears in ''Literature/Mockingjay'' as a commander of the rebellion in District Two. Christian also uses the picture of her as portrayed by Gwendolyn Christie to depict her.

* OCStandIn: Annie gives birth to a baby boy near the end of Mockingjay.
