* BunnyEarsLawyer: Very out-of-the-box and somewhat eccentric, and especially in this season tends to have somewhat odd priorities. However, he's an immense challenge threat, an excellent fisherman who consistently fed his entire tribe, and managed (more than once) to make it much farther in the game than his guileless personality would suggest.

* GentleGiant

to:

* GentleGiantGentleGiant: A big part of his persona, as he's very strong and looks intimidating but is actually extremely soft-hearted. At one point in the game he adopts a tiny injured snake, names it and takes care it, and is very upset when it dies.

* TheIngenue: She was portrayed as sweet and innocent and therefore was probably cast for the Ingénue archetypical role for which Colleen Haskell is the prototype.

* TheTrickster: Jonny Fairplay is the paradigm of the Survivor Trickster archetype and its very first occurrence. Later Tyson Apostol, Eric Cardona, Pete Yurkowski, Tyler Fredrickson and Nick Maiorano would follow. Fairplay was very deceptive and had a complete disregard for normal propriety. His biggest trick was when he had his friend who visited him at the Loved Ones' visit tell him publicly in front of the other castaways that his grandmother had passed away. Fairplay later revealed in confessional that his grandmother was at home watching Jerry Springer probably and that he premeditated this lie ahead of time. It is still to date the most infamous lie in Survivor history.

* HonorBeforeReason: Taking Sandra to the finals. She probably would have won if she'd taken Fairplay to the finals, as she had Tijuana's vote against Sandra and knew Sandra, Rupert and Christa all hated Jon.

to:

* HiddenDepths: In episode 1, it's clear she's a better strategist than you'd assume at first when she gets Nicole out.
* HonorBeforeReason: Taking Sandra to the finals. She probably would have won if she'd taken Fairplay to the finals, as she had Tijuana's vote against Sandra and knew Sandra, Rupert and Christa all hated Jon. (It is debatable... the jury wasn't exactly fond of her either)

* Irony: She's voted out for being weak at challenges. At the end of the season, she defeats the notorious Johnny Fairplay to kick him out.

* TheChick: To Morgan.

word. Played with, since she still had to beat everyone else.
* TheChick: To Morgan.LastOfHerKind: The last member of Savage's alliance standing by a long shot, and the only Morgan to avoid being voted out for a time. Interestingly, by the end, she fulfills Morgan's general tribal philosophy by being a Challenge beast, not unlike the ones Savage wanted to keep around.

Added DiffLines:

* CameBackStrong: Both from a gameplay and character standpoint, he becomes much more interesting and dominating upon coming back to take revenge on his old tribe.

Added DiffLines:

* Elimination by Irony: In the very first episode Nicole tries to get Tijuana out, but gets a little greedy with the vote, resulting in her elimination. In her boot episode, she does the same thing, and is eliminated for it.

Added DiffLines:

* IdiotBall: Causes her own elimination by getting too greedy.

* ButtMonkey: Despite Savage making sure all the Alpha Males were kept around, they won very few Challenges, and were somewhat screwed over by the outcast twist (Though this has more to do with how they treated the people they voted out more than anything else)

** She was also exceptionally good friends with Rupert. The DVD commentary for Pearl Islands reveals that she and Christa planned to burn down the shelter and throw snakes at Johnny FairPlay once he got Rupert Eliminated. (Apparently the Mattress wouldn't catch fire)

to:

* HardWorkHardlyWorksHardWorkHardlyWorks: Outright defied. It seemed like this would be the case when Savage decided he only wanted alpha males on his tribe, but she came back as an outcast by winning a challenge with her team, and clawed her way to the final 2, kicking Fairplay's ass along the way.

EnsembleDarkhorse: The reason why he was brought back for Cambodia.
* TheHeroTheHero: This the guy everyone on Morgan looks up to.
* HeroicResolve: He tacks on more weight during one immunity challenge than anyone else, outlasting even Rupert.
* HeroicRROD: Falls to the ground after winning the third immunity challenge for Morgan.

* ManlyTears:

to:

* ManlyTears: Morgan had lost pretty much every challenge bar three immunity challenges and a reward with Rupert. Fairplay told Morgan that they threw a challenge, implying that Morgan was weak and only won because they were intentionally trying to lose. When Savage refused to give up and won the challenge for his team, he started crying. Jeff even lampshaded it.

Subverted. He initially strongarms himself into the position by being the loudest voice, but that wore off as the days went by, letting Savage take the position instead.
* TheBigGuy: For Morgan.
Morgan. Whenever there's some sort of strength challenge, the weight (metaphorically and literally) falls on his shoulders.
* ButtMonkeyButtMonkey: He sold off all his clothes, except for his boxers, in the first day. This is most likely the reason why the island took its toll on him.

* SuicideByCop: Attempted. He wanted everyone to vote him off on two separate occasions. The night he quit was also the night he was supposed to be voted off.

* JerkJock: To Rupert
* LazyBum: He got called out on it many times by his tribe.

to:

* JerkJock: To Rupert
He and Burton act like stereotypical jocks making fun of the weird kids, which is something that Rupert especially didn;t like. Afterwards, Jon was the recipient of his ire.
* LazyBum: He got called out on it many times by his tribe. He had many arguments with Jon over his lack of work ethic.

* IncompatibleOrientation / ObliviousToLove: In the first episode, a store woman develops a crush on Trish, she does not pick up on it, but Sandra does.

* Revenge: While this applies to all the Outcasts, she was the one who vocalized it the most.

* VomitIndiscretionShot: One moment has her throwing up whilst Rupert attempts to strategize with her.

Added DiffLines:

* TooCleverByHalf: She attempted to eliminate a threat in the form of Tijuana instead of one of the easy votes like Ryan S. or Lillian. The tribe booted her to restore order.

It's been theorized that he, not Rupert, was primarily responsible for Drake's early winning streak because Drake goes on a losing streak as soon as he is voted out and he is the sole reason the Outcasts are able to beat Morgan and Drake at their challenge.

Dangerously Genre Savvy is being merged with Genre Savvy. Misuse and zero context examples will be cut.

* DangerouslyGenreSavvy: The dead Grandma tactic was inspired by how other castaways in Amazon responded to the news that Jenna Morasca's mother had cancer. Think about that; this was a guy who saw that news and decided to turn it into an actual tactic for winning Survivor.
