Later on, he ingests a Magatama and transforms into Black Frost, who then freezes and takes over Kabukicho Prison, with several Jack Frosts as servants. You can then face him as an optional boss who can later be recruited in the Amala Labyrinth.

Thor deserts after the Nightmare System is launched, saying that he has no interest in a dead city and that the Mantra were wrong all along. He shows up again in the Tower of Kagutsuchi regardless of your Reason and will fight you to test your strength. Thor dies after this battle.

As humanity cannot have a future and die at the same time, it's suggested Demi-Fiend is stuck between two extremes. As a result, not only is he the last to achieve his god, but his is also the first to fall up the climb of the Tower of Kagutsuchi while Chiaki and Isamu have a head start ahead of him.

Even before the conception, a little bit of this selfishness peeks out when he insists that he has to be the one to find Yuko, and treats the Demi-Fiend like a sidekick as a result.
