Even though she's trying to kill all humans at a village, she's a sympathetic AntiVillain whose goal is creating a place where she and her kindred can live peacefully. * WouldHurtAChild: [[spoiler: Ties up Akira when he’s in front of the Shikified Iwao Maeda and might’ve succeeded in having him killed in the original novel. Fortunately, this isn’t the case in the Anime and Manga, where Natsuno saves Akira. He also threatens families of risen Shikis, and is therefore not above harming innocent children.]]

* AllForNothing: She thought killing her entire family would eventually turn them in Shikis and be together forever, but they didn't. All of her actions she did was meaninglessness.

Seishin is genuinely a good-natured and compassionate individual, but he's secretly depressed, hates the village and finds that he could not escape, as people expect him to be a monk when he doesn't want to. He ends up empathizing more with Sunako and the Shiki because they are more similar to him and able to understand his feelings than any human in the village.
