Does Not Like Shoes has been renamed and redefined to focus on characters that explicitly or implicitly state a preference for going barefoot. Removing misuse

* DoesNotLikeShoes: Elika is perpetually barefoot, her only "footwear" being a single gold anklet. Somewhat averted in two of her alternate costumes ([[VideoGame/BeyondGoodAndEvil Jade]] and Prototype Elika) in where she wears boots and a pair of thin sandals though her feet still make an audible "slap" when running on the ground. Played straight with her [[VideoGame/PrinceOfPersiaTheSandsOfTime Farah]] costume where she is again barefoot and only wearing anklets (despite Farah wearing sandals in her first appearance). This is significant in ''where''' she lives: a place covered in hot sands, steep cliffs, and sharp rocks. Her feet are so toughened and calloused that [[MadeOfIron she never gets injured from this, or even brings it up.]] A little logic plays its part as well, considering what kind of [[http://i49.tinypic.com/2wcgr44.jpg shoes ancient Persian and Arabic royalty wore.]] It is ''considerably'' more practical for her to just toughen up her feet than even ''attempt'' to climb or jump anything in those.

* DeconstructedCharacterArchetype: Of the LoveableRogue AntiHero. These types of characters can be charming and at times heroic, while being perfectly capable of developing genuine feelings towards allies. But despite all of that, these characters are at their core thieves who only tend to do the right thing because they are forced into a situation where that's the only option, and regardless of any heroics they are often motivated by selfish desires. [[spoiler:Despite risking his life to trap Ahriman with Erika, he can't accept her HeroicSacrifice because of his feelings for her and chooses to free Ahriman in return for Erika's life, dooming the world in the process.]]

Played straight with her [[PrinceOfPersiaTheSandsOfTime [[VideoGame/PrinceOfPersiaTheSandsOfTime Farah]] costume where she is again barefoot and only wearing anklets (despite Farah wearing sandals in her first appearance). This is significant in ''where''' she lives: a place covered in hot sands, steep cliffs, and sharp rocks. Her feet are so toughened and calloused that [[MadeOfIron she never gets injured from this, or even bring it up]]. * LeParkour: She is just as nimble and athletic as the Prince - she's just not as physically strong. She has magic that compensates for that to some extent.

%%* MadeOfIron:* MadeOfIron: Elika is made of pretty stern stuff, being capable of taking some pretty brutal falls and hits without sustaining too much damage.
