* KilledOffForReal: Seemingly, after Toriko takes and axe to it.

* SpiritualAntithesis: Essentially, Sorawo bears many similarities to ''Roadside Picnic's'' main protagonist Redrick Schuhart who both are thrill-seekers and like to explore the unknown, but they are very different to each other. Redrick has a family who are still alive, while Sorawo's family are long gone or dead including her mother who died in a car accident and her grandmother and father joined a cult before also dying, making her the SoleSurvivor of her collapsing family. Redrick is the antithesis to Sorawo in terms of personality, being a wisecracker with a known violent temper and has sometimes known to be social even to questionable strangers like Vulture; Sorawo is cripplingly shy towards any strangers and is uncomfortable in talking to others due to her [[DarkAndTroubledPast tragic past]] with Toriko (initially) being the only person she talks to. And unlike Redrick who is a law-breaker and an AntiHero, Sorawo is law-abiding and is a ByronicHero.

* SenpaiKohai: She's Sorawo's kohai at university, and almost exclusively calls her "Sempai" or "[[LastNameBasis Kamikoshi]]-sempai." In the dub, she intead simply calls her "Sorawo."

* TwiceShy: When Toriko learns that hot springs in Japan involve bathing naked in a group, she becomes very timid about the whole thing, and can't look Sorawo in the eyes. Recognizing the implication (and having recently learned that Toriko HasTwoMommies) this makes Sorawo herself conscientious about the whole thing. The pair have to invite Kozakura along to serve as chaperone.
* UnknowinglyInLove: Recognizes early on that Toriko is in love with the missing Satsuki. But she is oblivious- until well into vol. 4- of her ''own'' feelings for Toriko. Justified in that Sorawo spent much of her youth dodging kidnappers and hiding in abandoned buildings. She's thrown when Toriko reveals that she HasTwoMommies, so it's likely that given [[DarkAndTroubledPast everything going on in her life]], Sorawo simply never stopped to consider her own stance on romance or orientation.

* ActionGirl: Toriko is pretty decent in a fight due to [[HasTwoMommies one of]] her mothers, a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_Task_Force_2 JTF2]] [[UsefulNotes/CanucksWithChinooks member]], teaching her about firearms and the military. However, in Volume 3 it's revealed that this does not extend to fighting other humans, and she noticeably trembles when having to take a shot at other human beings. [[spoiler: But, as shown in File 11, she will do so if the life of someone she cares about is threatened.]]

* HasTwoMommies: She has two mothers- "Mama" is the soldier, while "Mom" is the civilian.

* QueerEstablishingMoment: Toriko is revealed to be a lesbian slowly. First is the revelation that she HasTwoMommies. Then there's her telling Sorawo, "I love you" after Toriko rescues her from a group of cultists. But Sorawo is ObliviousToLove, initially, and it takes her longer to realize what's blatant to the audience.

* TwiceShy: When Toriko learns that hot springs in Japan involve bathing naked in a group, she becomes very timid about the whole thing, and can't look Sorawo in the eyes. * CompellingVoice: A power she recieved after watching an ASMR video left by Satsuki Uruma. Sorawo could see its influennce, and Toriko could remove it with her hand. Unable to use this ability after Satsuki (or an apparition using her form) dislocated her jaw.

* NotGoodWithPeople: Not for lack of trying at first, but she soon gives up and decides it's easier on her own.

* SempaiKohai: She's Sorawo's kohai at university, and almost exclusively calls her "Sempai" or "[[LastNameBasis Kamikoshi]]-sempai." In the dub, she intead simply calls her "Sorawo."

An entiry that Toriko and Sorawo encounter twice in Otherside, once while in the company of Abarato, and again months later. The second time, she's very much showing damage from the first time when our heroines defeated her She manifests as a woman over two meters tall.

* AnAxeToGrind: Toriko makes the statement that a woman wielding an axe looks beautiful. [[spoiler: When she uses one to take out the "Red Person", saving Sorawo's life, Sorawo agrees.]]

* FiveManBand: Of the TheHero variety.

!!Pale Horse Battalion

An officer in the Pale Horse Battalion, and the leader of the squad that encounters Sorawo and Toriko.

* NiceGuy: He treats Sorawo and Toriko well, noting that if he abandoned human decency, he wouldn't be able to face his loved ones again.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Unlike his subordinate Greg, he doesn't immediately jump to the conclusion that Sorawo and Toriko are with the monsters.

Lieutenant Drake's subordinate, who is rather suspicious of Sorawo and Toriko.

* KilledOffscreen: He dies between when Sorawo and Toriko escape the Otherside and when they come back for the Marines. According to Drake, Greg attacked the meat train and was killed by the apes who came out.
* OnlyOneName: He's only referred to by his title, or "Greg."
* SanitySlippage: He's starting to go insane, which explains his paranoia. According to Drake, he was probably already too far gone by the time Sorawo and Toriko first parted ways with the Marines.

* EvenEvilHasStandards: She makes an offhand remark that Sorawo's MagicEye might be trouble, and one of her followers pulls out a knife to [[EyeScream gouge it out]], only for Runa to tell him it won't be necessary.

* ClingyJealousGirl: Downplayed. In "Pandora in the Next Room" she learns that Sorawo spent a night at Akari's place, and actually finds her [[NotWhatItLooksLike in bed with Kozakura]] and proceeds to give Sorawo the cold shoulder during their train ride.

* DeceasedParentsAreTheBest: [[spoiler: Both her biological parents had died.]]

* FirstNameBasis: Toriko takes to using first names rather readily, which is suggested when she calls Sorawo by her first name without honorifics just after she meets her. Sorawo is especially convinced of this when she calls Akari by her first name when they first meet.
