* CharClone: A more literal take of the trope than Racles, given how he sports a spider-themed CoolMask who primarily wears white and gold and acts as a WildCard with a personal agenda in the middle of the ensuing conflict between the Ohsama Sentai and the Bug Naraku.

A young rebel orphan and self-proclaimed "King of Evil". While he has a kind heart and considerate personality, he is prone to lapsing into a villain-like persona, due to him often assuming the role whilst playing with the other orphans. He is later revealed to be the younger brother of King Racles, and first in line to the throne of Shugodom. He eventually becomes the king of Shugodom after he defeats Racles in trial-by-combat.

* DeconReconSwitch: At the beginning of the show, the ''King-Ohgers'' could be considered the least Sentai-like team thus far, even more so than the [[Series/AvataroSentaiDonbrothers Donbrothers]] from the previous year, as due to their status as monarchs of their own kingdoms, with a lot of plotting and outright backstabbing in order to give their respective nations the best advantages possible as they are only united by the circumstances of their situation rather than any true commonality. Over the course of the story however, the team would develop a unique but true to form TeamSpirit that proves that they work best when they are able to put aside personal ambitions for the sake of was is best for the world overall. [[spoiler: This is proven best when a second Fury of the Gods arrives; because that they are to truly unite for a common goal unlike the previous monarchs, the King-Ohgers are able to be properly prepare Tikyu against this cataclysm to the point there are zero casualties this time around.]]

* AntiHeroTeam: While they are generally good people, they are more than willing to do some ''very'' morally gray stuff in the name of protecting their kingdoms and the people that decide in them.

Formed around two thousand years ago, the Ohsama Sentai is comprised of the five monarchs of Tikyū, dedicated to fighting off the Boggnarok Empire with the guardian deity King-Ohger. While their current iteration has pledged their lives to the cause, their conflicting personalities and methods prevent them from truly uniting as a team.

* RagtagBandOfMisfits: As per ''Super Sentai'' standard, with the added twist that these people [[TheWonka are responsible for running entire countries]]. The Ohsama Sentai are a group of rulers made up of an orphaned wannabe tyrant king-turned-actual king who is the long lost brother of the EvilOverlord who rules his kingdom, a temperamental delinquent-looking tech genius, an incredibly self-centered doctor who takes pride in her selfishness and encourages others to do the same, an borderline emotionless yet shout-prone judge who can only properly communicate their true feelings through a mascot plushie, and an incredibly theatrical liar who is absolutely shameless about using people for his own ends. Then there's the very long-lived, half-human "old-fashioned storyteller" who's using both the Ohsama Sentai and Boggnarok to try and rule as the "King of All".

* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Four out of the five core (then all of six, as Racles being defeated by Gira in #20 along with the latter's coronation in #23, and Boggnarok 's reformation with Jeramie as its king after Dethnaarok's death in #26 respectively) Rangers are monarchs of specific kingdoms, and in ''Super Sentai'' tradition they are more than willing to [[WarriorPrince kick ass on the field]]. It's also shown they each individually fill major roles in their kingdoms, such as Rita acting as a chief justice or Hymeno being a doctor.

* ArtificialHuman: [[spoiler:Dagded reveals in #40 that Gira is his creation, given to the Husty family both as reward for their service and as a way to swing the human-Boggnarok war in humanity's favor through his ability to communicate with the Shugods. Dagded even states that he's both "mother" and "father" to Gira, though he magically impregnates Gira's biological mother.]]

** Subverted in #28; Dagded made a good effort to do this Gira by showing him how insignificant he and his world are in the grand scheme of things and revealing that [[spoiler: previous Shugodom kings followed Dagded commands to prosecute the Boggnarok ]]. While clearly shaken, Gira manages to steel himself and tell Dagded to shove it, making clear he's going to do everything he can to destroy him.

* ButtMonkey: He's often on the receiving end of much slapstick and disrespect, having been captured, shoved, used as a guinea pig, and/or kicked by either the Boggnarok, his brother, or his fellow teammates. Even after he became king of Shugodom, the monarchs are more than willing to exploit him for their own ends if necessary.

* LaserGuidedTykebomb: [[spoiler:His existence owes to the fact that Causus had requested great power from Dagded to be used against the Galactinsect King, under the pretext of creating a weapon to defeat the Boggnarok .]]

* MacGuffinSuperPerson: Gira's ability to both form King-Ohger and communicate with the Shugods are qualities every major player, even the Boggnarok , wants to obtain in order to consolidate power. It comes to a head in #9 when the rulers' mass-backstabbing isolates them for Dethnaarok to easily pick off, letting him snatch up Gira instead. It's eventually revealed that [[spoiler: these powers come from his link to Dagded, who created Gira to aid him in his plan to destroy Tikyu and that Racules saved Gira from becoming a mindless TykeBomb; which would've taken this trope FromBadToWorse]].

* RookieRedRanger: Compared to the other rangers, who either were born into royalty and have been raised since young in preparation for their future roles (Hymeno, Rita, and Kaguragi), or at the very least have been in the role for a good while despite being not of royal birth (Yanma), Gira has absolutely no clue about how royals go about their duties, having only interacted with the kingdoms' monarchs amid the Boggnarok invasion. He ends up becoming Kuwagata Ohger after taking Racles' [=OhgerCalibur=] when the latter turned out to be a tyrant and God Kuwagata accepted him as the rightful heir to the powers. He also quickly grows in skill and power despite lacking the training the other monarchs went through [[spoiler:This is justified since he came into existence after Causus requested great power from Dagded, which caused Gira's birth. He was even further powered up after eating Rainbow Jururira , which is actually the soul of God Kuwagata]]

* UnskilledButStrong: He often relies on his raw power with the [=OhgerCalibur=] and King's Weapon to defeat his enemies. While he gets the job done, he lacks the refinement of his fellow teammates due to his lack of experience. [[TookALevelInBadass He gradually does get to the level of his teammates over time]] thanks to their battles with the Boggnarok, to the point where he's able to beat Racles during their second trial-by-combat.

* JerkassHasAPoint: As rude and dismissive to the others during their meeting about the prophecy as he was, Yanma was ''completely'' on the ball about Racles being a total OpportunisticBastard who was planning on using the situation with the Boggnarok to take over all of the other kingdoms.

* ProperlyParanoid: He refuses to acknowledge Racles as a leader, suspecting that he's only using the prophecy as an excuse to monopolize power. Sure enough, when the Boggnarok first invades, Racles sits idly by and does nothing while the other monarchs try to protect everyone while making plans to invade the other kingdoms afterward.

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: When we are first introduced to her, Hymeno is shown to be rather pampered and haughty, actually delaying her departure to Shugodom ''just to finish putting on her makeup''. However, during the attack on Shugodom, she as Kamakiri Ohger immediately moves to protect Gira and several children from Boggnarok soldiers.

** Racles's attempt to [[LetNoCrisisGoToWaste blackmail the other nations into surrendering to him in exchange for humanitarian aid after the Boggnarok's mass invasion in #9 and #10]] elicits such disgust out of Kaguragi that [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness he breaks his toady persona just to chew him out]].

* SupremeChef: He's quite the exceptional cook, so much so that it gets the others to openly {{Squee}} at its sheer deliciousness. In fact, upon sampling a feast he prepared, Gira, Yanma, and Hymeno were more focused on fighting for bigger portions than the Boggnarok invasion.

A mysterious storyteller who seeks to be the "King of All" to stop the war between mankind and the Boggnarok. While he has good intentions, his cryptic messages lead everyone to distrust him. He is later revealed to be the son of the forgotten sixth hero and a Boggnarok named Nephila. He eventually becomes the king of the Boggnarok after Dethnaarok's death.

** After successfully bringing peace between the Boggnarok by succeeding Dethnarok on the throne, Jeramie's people were the first to be wiped out by the Galactinsects, leaving him with nobody but Gerojim and miscellaneous Sanagim under his rule.

* AmbiguouslyEvil: In the very same episode where he has been stated to have been aiding and advising the Boggnarok for centuries ''even up to a millennium'' if Dethnaarok's words are true, he betrays them when they were about to fully unleash their plan to destroy humanity once and for all, stealing the Greater Shugods' spirits to use for his own ends. #12 reveals he's NotEvilJustMisunderstood, seeking to stop the war between humanity and the Boggnarok by interfering with both sides.
* AmbiguouslyHuman: While he ''looks'' human, many things cast Jeramie as being far more; when he crashed Gira's "funeral", he is able to lift the coffin containing him with one hand and jump a far great distance without needing to transform. At the beginning of that same episode, his conversation with Dethnaarok and Kamejim heavily implies that he's far, ''far'' OlderThanHeLooks. #12 reveals him to be a [[HalfHumanHybrid human-Boggnarok hybrid]].
* AnimalMotifs: Spiders. Not only does he possess arachnid-like abilities, [[SneakySpider he's cunning enough]] to have played both the Ohsama Sentai and Boggnarok.

** #12 reveals that he's the one who created the prophecies that motivate both the monarchs and the Boggnarok alike, as well as directly intervening to make sure said prophecies come true through working with others like Yanma's mentor Gin.

** #24 reveals that the original legend that he wrote inadvertently bred the Boggnarok's hatred towards humanity, as it depicted them as the villains of the story for seemingly no reason.

* BreakTheHaughty: His sheer naïveté to the nuances of the current situation between the Boggnarok and humanity gradually catch up to him as it becomes very clear that the two races have no way of peacefully reuniting. This culminates in a HeroicBSOD that lasts for a good two episodes as a result of his disillusionment.
* BrokenAce: He's the most powerful of the main characters because of his experience and powers granted by his Boggnarok side. He's also incredibly haunted by his parents' fates even after two millennia, becoming obsessed with storytelling to end the war between humanity and the Boggnarok so that he can bring some justice to his parents.
* CareerRevealingTrait: Defied. During his speech in Ishabana, Hymeno takes notice of the back of Jeramie's outfit, which conspicuously has the Boggnarok logo etched. She keeps the detail to herself and the rulers' subsequent accusations stem solely from their growing paranoia and Jeramie's unwillingness to be straightforward.

* ChildOfTwoWorlds: Deconstructed. He's the ChildOfForbiddenLove between the human sixth warrior and a Boggnarok woman. He declares himself king of the "in-betweens" -- the marginal peoples who don't quite belong to the Five Kingdoms or the Boggnarok - and wanted both parts of his heritage to co-exist. However, his [[AllForNothing goal is beyond his reach]] since he made the choice to demonize his mother's people in the King-Ohger prophecy and manipulated many for his own self-gain. As a result, any reconciliation between humanity and the Boggnarok is outright impossible.

** [[Series/AvataroSentaiDonbrothers Jiro Momotani]] was the Gold/Silver Ranger of his team and a survivor of the Don Clan, as well as a boisterous muscle-head with an antagonistic second personality. Jeramie is the White Ranger of his team and the child of a human and a Boggnarok, and an overtly suave schemer who has been PlayingBothSides. Jiro also gained zero respect from his team-mates for the majority of the show and had to deal with [[spoiler: the trauma of his time in Kakamura Village being an elaborate BodySurf campaign by the Penguin Juto]] on his own. Jeramie meanwhile gains the monarchs' respect very quickly and the first major point of his CharacterDevelopment is realizing that YouAreNotAlone.
** Both [[Series/GoseiSentaiDairanger Kou]] and Jeramie are the Sixth and White Rangers of their respective teams who are hybrids of humans and their series' antagonist factions. While Kou rejected his Gorma heritage, seeing it as a curse, Jeramie accepts his Boggnarok side and seeks coexistence between the two races. Kou was nine years old when he became a Ranger, in sharp contrast to the two millennia-year-old Jeramie.
** Both [[Series/KaitouSentaiLupinrangerVsKeisatsuSentaiPatranger Noël Takao]] and Jeramie are the Sixth Rangers of their respective series that work with both sides of a conflict. While Noël's goal turns out to be protecting the Lupin Collection, causing him to be always opposed to the Gangler as well as siding with the Lupinrangers over the Patrangers when push came to shove, Jeramie is a genuine third party in the human-Boggnarok conflict, which means he's willing to work with or fight both sides to further his aim.
* ConspicuousGloves: Wears an ornate glove on his right hand to hide his status as half-Boggnarok. #12 reveals that [[RedRightHand the entire arm is of chitin rather than flesh and blood]]. He promptly stops wearing the glove from #13-onwards presumably since his identity as a HalfHumanHybrid was revealed to the team.
* ControlFreak: Downplayed. While he isn't oppressively behind the other monarchs' shoulders, he ''does'' operate on the assumption that all of the rulers are power-seekers, making him InnocentlyInsensitive to the nuances of their various personal differences and the priority of defending their kingdoms over making peace with the Boggnarok. Jeramie treats both sides of the war like children who need supervision and continuously interferes in their matters in an attempt to corral them together, justifying it with his intent to rule over all. Jeramie's inability to acknowledge these finer details often contributes to, rather than solves, the issues at hand. This extends into his relationship with the Guardian Shugods. The three of them are willing to fight alongside him but he prefers to control them using God Tarantula's threads. When he tries this to ensnare King-Ohger and form Extreme King-Ohger, he not only creates an incomplete version but struggles to hold the forced combination together. This lets God Kuwagata ZERO blast the shugods apart.
* CreateYourOwnVillain: #24 reveals that his story, which painted the Boggnarok as the bad guys against the original heroes, pushed them to become a villainous death cult, making his efforts at attempting to reconcile humanity and the Boggnarok in vain.

** Of the HeroicNeutral. As noble as his goal of peace between humans and Boggnarok is, he is so focused on ensuring the conflict doesn't end violently that not only is he willing to sabotage both sides when one has an advantage; he also fails to think about the possibility that the battle between humanity and the Boggnarok ''can't'' end peacefully, which Racles exploits in #17 and #18.

* EveryoneHasStandards: For all of his harping for peace between humanity and the Boggnarok, he loathes Racles' behavior, often calling him a brat.

* HalfHumanHybrid: His father was the sixth legendary warrior who was erased from history due to his relationship with a Boggnarok.

* HeroWithBadPublicity: He becomes this [[spoiler:in #28 when he deliberately takes the fall for himself and the Boggnarok so that the other monarchs don't resign sacrificing his dream of coexistence between humans and Boggnarok. The monarchs' BatmanGambit in #31 eventually gets his name cleared.]]
* HeroicBSOD: He goes through a massive one from #17-#19 due to his failures in uniting the Boggnarok and humanity, as well as Racles' betrayal. It takes him and Yanma repeating the whoopee cushion prank on Racles back from #13 for him to finally break out of it in #19.
* HeroicNeutral: He is initially presented as a pacifist who wants to remain neutral in the conflict between the Ohsama Sentai and the Boggnarok. Over the course of the series, he becomes much more affiliated with the team as the conflict escalates beyond his control, eventually culminating in him fully aligning himself with the team just before he becomes the king of the Boggnarok.
* TheHighKing: He initially sought to become the ruler of all Tikyū. However, his revelations about the legend that he wrote make him change his goal to becoming the king of the Boggnarok instead.
* HistoryRepeats: Subverted. His father was the sixth hero of yore -- erased from history for falling in love with a Boggnarok agent and eloping with her, conceiving Jeramie. Jeramie is visibly fearful when the modern kings, tired of his obfuscating word games, deem him an enemy agent. However, revealing his origins as a HalfHumanHybrid and a plan to unite the races thaws their opinion of him and gains the monarchs' sympathy.
* HybridPower: He's a Boggnarok/Human hybrid and one of the most powerful characters currently in the show.

* IgnoredEpiphany: In #17, he has a HeroicBSOD as he comes to realize that hostilities will never end peacefully between humans and the Boggnarok. Unfortunately, he ends up deluding himself as he comes to realize that as the future king of Tikyū, he can't allow himself to be pulled to and fro by the conflicting arguments of either side and must work ''even harder'' to achieve his goal, leading him to forcibly combine King-Ohger with God Tarantula.

** A child born from a human and a Boggnarok, who desired to end wars between humans and Boggnarok alike, yet he was the one who depicted the Boggnarok as the villains in the legend he wrote.

* KnowNothingKnowItAll: His long lifespan has given him the opinion that he knows everything that he's talking about, which is why he believes that he's the most fit to ensure peace between the Boggnarok and humanity. It quickly becomes clear that he's incredibly ignorant of the nuances of the political side of the conflict, which naturally causes his attempts at peace to fail miserably.

* LongGame: According to Dethnaarok, he's been giving advice to him and his forces for centuries and has spent that spreading the legend of Legend King-Ohger to humanity and the Boggnarok all so he to arrange the moment where he can take the Greater Shugods and obtain a secret key that'll unlock his own sealed away power.

** His last names are derived from ''[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idmonarachne idmonarachne brasieri]]'', an extinct species of arachnid from the Late Carboniferous Period. The "''narach''" is also a {{pun}} of "Naraku/Rag'''narök'''", alluding to his connection to the Boggnarok and his relation to Dethnaarok.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: #24 sees Jeramie gradually realize the full extent of his prophecies' influence, as he finds out from Dethnaarok and Boone that the only reason the Boggnarok and humanity hate each other is because of the original legend ''that he wrote''. This notably takes a toll on his morale until Gerojim snaps him out of it.

** Jeramie left hints for humanity on how to form Legend King-Ohger within the prophecy as well as the locations of the Shugod souls for the Boggnarok to find, making him partly responsible for the show's recent tragedies. #24 expands upon this, as Jeramie realizes that the prophecy that he wrote caused the animosity between the Boggnarok and humanity because of his choice to portray the former as the "villains" of the tale.

* NotEvilJustMisunderstood: Jeramie introduces himself as a WildCard that intrudes within the lives of both of the warring factions -- teasing about knowing things he shouldn't and being deliberately antagonistic to force a response out of everyone. This secrecy gives off a bad impression that almost turns everyone against him, forcing him to finally drop the act and out himself as a peace-seeker who wants to end the human-Boggnarok conflict.
* ParentalAbandonment: His mother died while protecting him from the other Boggnarok soldiers, while his father's fate, aside from being {{Unperson}}ed, is yet to be known.

* SkilledButNaive: While he's arguably one of ''the'' strongest characters due to his experience and mastery over his hybrid powers, he can be quite dense to the sheer hostility between the Boggnarok and humans, failing to recognize that there isn't a true option for peace between the both of them and calling everyone that disagrees with him selfish. When he's finally confronted with this in #17, he deludes himself into believing that he just needs to work even harder in order to achieve his goals.

** The Boggnarok just succeeded in disabling Legend King-Ohger with the bombs they've secretly planted and were about to steal away the souls of the Greater Shugods, until Jeramie swoops in to steal them for himself.

* TakingTheHeat: Does this in #28 [[spoiler: to prevent the other monarchs from having to give over their thrones to their retainers in order soothe over international relations. Luckily, he and the Boggnarok's name get cleared in #31 thanks to the team's BatmanGambit.]]
* TimeAbyss: He claims to be an elder to the current Boggnarok regime, [[Really700YearsOld who have existed for at least 2,000 years]], yet [[TheAgeless looks no older than his early twenties]]. The next episode reveals that he was born not long after the Boggnarok's defeat by the legendary heroes.

Then there's the very long-lived, half-human "old-fashioned storyteller" who's using both the Ohsama Sentai and Bug Naraku to try and rule as the "King of All".

It comes to a head in #9 when the rulers' mass-backstabbing isolates them for Dethnaarok to easily pick off, letting him snatch up Gira instead. It's eventually revealed that [[spoiler: these powers come from his link to Dagded, who created Gira to aid him in his plan to destroy Tikyu and that Racules saved Gira from becoming a mindless TykeBomb; which would've taken this trope FromBadToWorse]].

* RookieRedRanger: Compared to the other rangers, who either were born into royalty and have been raised since young in preparation for their future roles (Hymeno, Rita, and Kaguragi), or at the very least have been in the role for a good while despite being not of royal birth (Yanma), Gira has absolutely no clue about how royals go about their duties, having only interacted with the kingdoms' monarchs amid the Bug Naraku invasion. He ends up becoming Kuwagata Ohger after taking Racles' [=OhgerCalibur=] when the latter turned out to be a tyrant and God Kuwagata accepted him as the rightful heir to the powers. He also quickly grows in skill and power despite lacking the training the other monarchs went through [[spoiler:This is justified since he came into existence after Causus requested great power from Dagded, which caused Gira's birth. * UnskilledButStrong: He often relies on his raw power with the [=OhgerCalibur=] and King's Weapon to defeat his enemies. While he gets the job done, he lacks the refinement of his fellow teammates due to his lack of experience. [[TookALevelInBadass He gradually does get to the level of his teammates over time]] thanks to their battles with the Bug Naraku, to the point where he's able to beat Racles during their second trial-by-combat.

* JerkassHasAPoint: As rude and dismissive to the others during their meeting about the prophecy as he was, Yanma was ''completely'' on the ball about Racles being a total OpportunisticBastard who was planning on using the situation with the Bug Naraku to take over all of the other kingdoms.

* ProperlyParanoid: He refuses to acknowledge Racles as a leader, suspecting that he's only using the prophecy as an excuse to monopolize power. Sure enough, when the Bug Naraku first invades, Racles sits idly by and does nothing while the other monarchs try to protect everyone while making plans to invade the other kingdoms afterward.

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: When we are first introduced to her, Hymeno is shown to be rather pampered and haughty, actually delaying her departure to Shugodom ''just to finish putting on her makeup''. However, during the attack on Shugodom, she as Kamakiri Ohger immediately moves to protect Gira and several children from Bug Naraku soldiers.

** Racles's attempt to [[LetNoCrisisGoToWaste blackmail the other nations into surrendering to him in exchange for humanitarian aid after the Bug Naraku's mass invasion in #9 and #10]] elicits such disgust out of Kaguragi that [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness he breaks his toady persona just to chew him out]].

* SupremeChef: He's quite the exceptional cook, so much so that it gets the others to openly {{Squee}} at its sheer deliciousness. In fact, upon sampling a feast he prepared, Gira, Yanma, and Hymeno were more focused on fighting for bigger portions than the Bug Naraku invasion.

** [[Series/AvataroSentaiDonbrothers Jiro Momotani]] was the Gold/Silver Ranger of his team and a survivor of the Don Clan, as well as a boisterous muscle-head with an antagonistic second personality. Jeramie is the White Ranger of his team and the child of a human and a Bug Naraku, and an overtly suave schemer who has been PlayingBothSides. Jiro also gained zero respect from his team-mates for the majority of the show and had to deal with [[spoiler: the trauma of his time in Kakamura Village being an elaborate BodySurf campaign by the Penguin Juto]] on his own.
