* BigBrotherMentor: A sisterly variety. All for One also has three daughters alongside himself who were adopted and raised by All Might (Momoko, Miyako, and Kaoru) who he mentions to have become a big help to him.

* SuperpowerLottery: While the Omnitrix is a powerful weapon, it still gives the user new forms at random, and Izuku specifically avoids using any he isn't familiar with while fighting The Watchman. It becomes clear that while he has many powerful forms, he is notably lacking in some of the more powerful transformations (he doesn't recognize Feedback, Big Chill, Gravatack, Jetray, or Gax) and many of his most powerful forms come with severe drawbacks.

** His most powerful alien he mentions, Shadowrise, is implied to be WeakenedByTheLight: when in darkness he believes the form could defeat his evil self in under 10 minutes but when exposed to light he doesn't consider using him.

* FromNobodyToNightmare: A sweet kid with dreams of becoming a Hero turns into a genocidal supervillain with a god complex who manages to kill one of the most powerful Villains in the setting.
