* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: When she finds out [[spoiler:her tooth was used to zombify Yuuhi]], she's absolutely mortified, even though she doesn't even remember doing it, [[spoiler:because it was Lala who did the deed via a pair of pliers.]]

* BloodKnight: She's shown to be enjoying herself during the hostage situation in chapter 11, and at the end of chapter 15's hostage situation her only concern was that she didn't even get to shoot someone.

Zombina, Tionishia, and Manako all admit to having enjoyed their time with Kimihito, and immediately switch the conversation to looking into doing the homestay thing as well when their boss is notorious for just dumping more and more girls into Kimihito's home.

* BeleagueredBureaucrat: The reason she's so lazy and irresponsible is because her job is a rotten combination of demanding, thankless, and low-paying.

* TheLadette: She's grossly irresponsible at her job, constantly bums off Kimihito for meals, and her own apartment's a sty.

* MeaningfulName: Her first name, Kuroko, roughly translates to "person in black" and is the name of stagehands in kabuki theater who are responsible for moving props and scenery in order for the plot to continue. Smith, most of the time, is responsible for the cast being put into new situations, sending them new places, and is always wearing her black secret agent outfit.
* NeverMyFault: She never accepts responsibility for the hassle she's put Kimihito through, starting with the fact that she just dumped Miia on him despite him not even having signed up for the Interspecies Exchange program and continuing through all the problems that he suffers from things like the girls going crazy the night she told them that one of them was going to get married to Kimihito while not warning him that monstergirls get wild during the full moon.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: In a number of chapters, she seems to enjoy getting up in Kimihito's face without warning. Whether because it unsettles him or because Smith has a more-than-professional interest is anyone's guess.

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Zigzagged. She often forgets to mention new stuff to Kimihito regarding the homestay program, causing problems that could have been avoided, such as being reimbursed for food expenses for the girls. And though she tends to lump a lot of responsibility, and new monster girls, onto him, she does at least try to help get his house refurbished to accommodate the new guests, and helps take care of a lot of behind the scenes activities as well as the mundane paperwork.

* YourDoorWasOpen: She has a tendency to simply appear without warning or explanation, notably in the first chapter where the reveal that she's present startles Kimihito and again showing up suddenly among the rest of MON in Chapter 11.

* ButtMonkey: In chapter 20, she spends most of the time getting stomped on by giant monsters, culminating with her buried in a crater. It's okay though, since she's already dead.

** Her suggestion to Manako goes even further into AwesomeButImpractical territory in the official English version, suggesting the use of [[SawedOffShotgun sawed off shotguns]] rather than simply modifying the sniper rifle itself.

* OurZombiesAreDifferent: Her kind are specifically stated to be [[PlagueZombie Plague Zombies]] created from an infectious disease, although she doesn't appear interested in spreading it, and is horrified when she thinks she did by accident. She also has an artificial heart and blood to prevent her body from decaying. It's also revealed that there are other subspecies of zombies that don't fall under this description, such as {{mumm|y}}ies or [[ChineseVampire jiang shi]].

* ShootTheHostage: Zombina, being undead, is not adverse to shooting through her own body to surprise kidnappers.

* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Meat. Eating it in public can cause a panic, for obvious reasons.

* AdaptationalCurves: In the manga her default form is flat-chested, but in the video-game she is far more buxom. Justified as it is noted in her character profile that she can change her appearance at will.

* BlackEyesOfCrazy: {{Averted}}, as she's not crazy, but she does have black sclerae in her default form that emphasize she's [[HumanoidAbomination definitively not human]].

* BreakingTheFourthWall: Happened only once so far, in the color intro for Chapter 39, where she directly speaks to the readers. Being an EldritchAbomination somewhat justifies this.
* {{Doppelganger}}: She presents herself as one for the convenience of others, as whatever she actually is is beyond comprehension and a Doppelganger is simply the closest thing we can imagine.
* EldritchAbomination: Her true appearance, real name, and even native language, are all beyond human comprehension. Her "faceless" self is described as having hair-like tentacles and jet black skin, an appearance she uses to freak people out. Her profile hints that she may be in fact be the Lovecraftian Outer God, Nyarlathotep, mentioning she has an air of [[Franchise/CthulhuMythos Crawling Chaos]] around her. Chapter 39's full-color intro implies that she can't control her appearance all the time, showing creepy red eyes and rows of teeth among her strands of hair while she's half-asleep. Her true nature is further teased by her choice of reading material -- a ''Cthulhu Mythos'' compilation -- and official art for the "Doppelgänger" species makes it even more explicit by showing Nyarlathotep himself manifesting from her hair.

* HumanoidAbomination: Most of the time she takes the form of a cute girl, but then Chapter 40 has her turn into a vaguely-seen, indescribable ''something'' only seen in silhouette that drives the Orc seeing it insane.

* NonIndicativeName: If you want to be pedantic, she's actually a shapeshifter rather than a doppelganger. Doppelgänger are the exact copy of a single person, while shapeshifters can turn into anyone (and anything) they want, like Doppel does.

* VoluntaryShapeshifting: Doppel's only known ability is shapeshifting. When she shapeshifts, her hair becomes the clothes her other form may wear. The full extent of her shapeshifting is still unknown, but she has been shown to transform into both humans, and various Liminals, such as Arachnes and Lamia. She mostly uses it to sneak into sensitive places.
* WeakButSkilled: She admits her actual physical strength isn't much better than an average person's, and she has to rely mostly on her transformation abilities alone, though they more than make up for it.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: She really enjoys playing pranks, but they typically have an intended ultimately positive outcome, such as punishing Lilith for continuing her mischievous behavior, or helping Draco apologize to and make up with Miia. [[spoiler:Or trying to help Kimihito break out of maintaining his harem.]]

** She is especially conscious of her flat chest. In Chapter 29, when Manako hears that Centorea's breasts are so big that they snap a 103 centimeter bra, [[ColorFailure she does not take it well.]]

* LogicalWeakness: Due to only having one eye, she has poor depth perception when it comes to close range objects and is likely to bump into things.

* RunningGag: Several chapters that she's shown up in, she's made comments about her eye hurting or being dry while tearing up. Her insecurity over how people might treat her over her eye comes up often as well.

* TokenWholesome: Fanservice wise, she is easily the most wholesome girl in the entire manga, Lala included. She has had very few fanservice moments, and they're mostly in omakes.

* TheFashionista: The majority of the money she makes is stated to go into buying clothing and accessories, in part due to needing everything custom made. Manako's profile states that the entire group has high standards for fashion, but notes Tionishia as having the highest standards.

* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Her warm presence is so monopolizing that Kimihito, who is no stranger to powerful monster-girls, couldn't escape it and regards it as dangerous.

* LethalKlutz: Supplementary material show this. While she appears in only two of the about 70 web-based shorts, she still manages to bust open part of a wall in Kimihito's house and then smash a coffee table... while apologizing for the wall no less!
* MarshmallowHell: Gives Kimihito this treatment in Chapter 22, and again in Chapter 41, where she nearly accidently kills him with them.
* MusclesAreMeaningless: She has a rather slender, soft-looking figure underneath the armor. Doesn't stop her from throwing a vending machine with her bare hands.

* StatuesqueStunner: She's noted to be at least 7 feet tall, and in comparison to Kimihito is a couple [[OneHeadTaller heads taller]]. Even among most monster girls she's apparently large, as the clothes at a store specifically stocked for extreme sizes were still too small for her.
** This actually turns out to be something of a disadvantage for her. Since, due to most clothing being too small for her, she needs to have everything custom made, which can be quite expensive. Especially since any use of her strength could tear it.

* FashionableAsymmetry: In the very beginning her bangs cover one eye just short of PeekABangs. The [[ArtEvolution art quickly evolves]], however, and she's currently symmetrical.

* DubPersonalityChange: The English dub shows her as a loud, somewhat-obnoxious ValleyGirl as opposed to the more demure NiceGirl portrayal she gets in Japanese.

* OddlyVisibleEyebrows: Perhaps one of the few examples with an explanation. As stated above, her hair will always appear conveniently placed. This includes being "behind" her ''eyes'' so as to not obscure them.

* GagBoobs: So massive they make Centoria's look normal by comparison. Her profile lists her as being 160 cm P Cup, and that that's large even among Ogres. Her bras are custom made and reinforced, described as a "marvel of modern engineering".

* IdiotHoudini: Kimihito suffers no end due to her irresponsibility, and she rare suffers for it. This backfires on her in chapter 13: she left her coworkers to cover her at work while saying it was to keep the other girls away from the ill Kurusu (to avoid a viral mutation), when in fact she just wanted to slack off. Once she catches his cold, her coworkers refuse to help her for the same reason she gave them.
