During the quest, you can find out from the Handler that your character is tasked with keeping the local monsters out of the forest. ''All'' of them. ''[[OneManArmy Alone.]]'' Even Geralt is impressed, remarking that if they were in his world, [[FamedInStory bards would be writing songs about the Hunter]].

** When [[WorldsStrongestMan Fatalis]] shows up much earlier than the Guild planned on, the General orders an immediate retreat, but the Sapphire Star and Ace Cadet/Aiden volunteer to hold it off while the main force arrives. After the initial fight, whereupon the Ace Cadet/Aiden is hurt by Fatalis's ultimate attack, only the player is left to face the dragon - and upon besting it, the Commander [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu is genuinely at a loss for words.]]

* AdorablyPrecociousChild: Her age is unclear, but her behavior fits to a tee as she is constantly earnest about her work while also constantly second-guessing herself, psyching herself up, belittling herself in adorable ways, etc.
* ImportantHaircut: Dialogue from Fukashigi reveals she used to have longer hair, but decided to have it cut shorter when she was posted to Elgado.

* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Despite protests to her decision, she studied everything she needed to know in order to become a Guild certified quest receptionist to lend her aid to the Knights.

* BoringButPractical: In ''Sunbreak'', their tendency to focus more on healing than attacking or setting down monster-hindering Endemic Life or items can help bolster the player's longevity and slow down their potion consumption.

* BoringButPractical: Her damage output isn't great and she can't inflict status ailments or use support items, but her high healing frequency can save you a handful of Mega Potions and carts. Couple her with a Hunting Horn for buffs and she becomes an excellent SupportPartyMember.

* OldSoldier: We never get to see him in a straight fight, but he never backs off and conversations imply he's one of the very best fighters in the fleets, despite also being one of the older members. His ability to brace a giant rock against a Rajang's thunder beam for several seconds - the same monster who ''eats Kirin horns'' - shows that he's ''definitely'' still got it, even if he's no longer in his prime.
