Only Piro and Largo (Piro by being able to recognize what was happening, Largo because his character was bizarrely unaffected by it) resisted her]]. She carries this trait into her real relationships, too.

* {{Adorkable}}: {{Badass}} moments aside, Piro's just an unconfident NiceGuy who really needs a hug.

* {{Badass}}: [[YouWouldntLikeMeWhenImAngry When he loses his temper]].
** BadassUnintentional: Piro rarely (if ever) notices all of the awesome things he does. He hardly even reacts to [[http://megatokyo.com/strip/908 effortlessly powering through Largo's security systems]], and doesn't even seem aware of what he's done after he [[http://megatokyo.com/strip/1397 hits Largo so hard]] he ''breaks Largo's face''.

* {{Badass}}: It's hard to tell where she is compared to people like Largo or Ed, since she doesn't really get into serious fights, but she is still capable of some pretty impressive feats. Not to mention that she apparently uses a real gun for cosplaying.

* {{Badass}}: On the high end of the power tier.

* TriggerHappy: In the early years, Dom and Ed were used to play off a Japanese stereotype: That all Americans are well armed and willing to whip out a gun at the slightest provocation. Ed has become the more violent of the pair, using high level Sony weaponry and robots in blunt (yet effective) ways.

Same as Dom, above. Though Ed has become the more violent of the pair, using high level Sony weaponry and robots in blunt (yet effective) ways.

* IllGirl: Possibly [[spoiler:not just ''an'' IllGirl, but ''[[ArchetypalCharacter the]]'' IllGirl. Apparently her story was so great that it became more real that she was--forcing her to come back to life and relive it, only to die over and over again. Kotone is specifically mentioned to be one of her "major character representations," and it's implied all other {{Ill Girl}}s are the same]].

* BreakHisHeartToSaveHim: [[spoiler: The reason for her and Piro's original falling-out. She genuinely fell for him and didn't want him to get hurt, so she broke up with him in the cruelest way possible (see {{GIRl}} below for details as to how) to ensure he'd never try to find her again. Unfortunately (or not) for both of them, the resentment didn't stick.]]

** Second, he manages to deduce ''what'' Miho is: [[spoiler:Based on the police's reaction to a MagicalGirl, and the comment "never let anything get zombified that's hard to kill," he comes to the conclusion that she's an undead MagicalGirl]]. He's at least half right on that. [[spoiler: Or as we learn later, on completely right. Miho is stuck in a cycle of death and rebirth as the original IllGirl. So every time another story has that trope, she must live it.]]
