* AdaptedOut: In both movies, probably because that she's a minor character and the events involving her family never happen there.

Though the viewer gets to see him introduced first as a human mage, he's been badly injured and [[{{Shapeshifter}} assumes the form of a ferret]] to better heal and recover. This is how Nanoha finds him, and he doesn't end up revealing his human form to her until halfway into the first season (not that he meant to keep it secret, it simply slipped his mind that he hadn't actually told her). In any case, Yuuno is looking for [[GottaCatchThemAll twenty one]] [[LostTechnology Jewel Seeds]]. Being unable and unsuited to use [[MagicWand the Intelligent Device, Raising Heart]], he gave it to Nanoha, with whom it is remarkably compatible. Yuuno assists Nanoha in most of her adventures during Season One, acting as a cross between a [[{{Mentors}} mentor]] and TheLancer (of the rare gentle-and-sweet variety).

* AccidentalPervert: Before Nanoha knew that he's actual a {{Shapeshifter}}, she undressed in front of him. It didn't help that he ''believed'' that Nanoha met him in his original form.

* {{Shapeshifter}}: He is able to transform into a ferret. In the first season, he did this to recover from his injuries faster. However, this doomed him to become Chrono's sole target of his jokes, and ''INNOCENT'' just makes him an actual animal.

* NotSoDifferent: Ironically (or perhaps not) Linith is very much like Fate in that both of them wanted to be loved by Precia. Linith herself admits to Precia at the end of their story arc in ''Gears of Destiny'' that she had always loved her and that she regretted not being able to make the other woman happy.

* UnfortunateNames: It's hard to get much more unfortunate than [[WrittenSoundEffect Arf]] for a human/dog animorph.

* FeeFiFauxPas: Drinks her Japanese tea British-style. One possibility is that, knowing a fellow Admiral from England, she attempts to apply the way he drinks his tea to how she drinks Japanese tea.

* ServileSnarker: Has little respect for Precia, and is not above talking back or using sarcasm even during her last words ("my never kind master, Precia"). Has a better relationship with Fate, but is not above teasing her a little over her being sleepy in her LotusEaterMachine dream.

In Fate and Chrono's cases, she's a part of their family, in Nanoha's case, she appears alongside with Fate. In Zafira's case, there is no given reason, except maybe this trope. And at one point, she contacts Fate when the latter defeats the Dark Piece version of Zafira.

The second movie ramps it up when she's shown unpacking a paper lantern, a tengu mask, a sai, a teapot, a wall scroll, and [[TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers a log with shuriken embedded in it]]. She even moves to Japan full-time after the events of ''A's'' (though it was more for Fate's sake than her own).
