* NeverTheSelvesShallMeet: Ness and Baby Ness accidentally catch sight of each other from across time. This causes Ness to be catapulted into his own subconciousness, aka Magicant.

* OneSceneWonder: Though he's talked up all throughout the game, you never see his true form until the final battle. It's probably the most memorable part about the game.

* GreenEyedMonster: Pokey's projection in Magicant claims to be envious of Ness. A lot of his later behavior is geared toward belittling or dominating our hero. ("So ''now'' which one of us do you think is the cool guy?!" he asks before vanishing at the very end).
