* CatBoy: He's a strange fellow with furry ears, whiskers, and a CatSmile.

* CatSmile: As befitting his nature as a Catfolk.

* AmbiguousDisorder: He has difficulty reading social cues (such as Bubsy's advances), and if you flirt with him, it takes him a moment to realize that yes, that's what's happening. He also hyperfocuses on Tarrott Monster over many other things.

* CuddleBug: Surprisingly, if romanced, he turns out to be very physically affectionate. Many of his end-of day dialogues reference how much he enjoys hugs and cuddles.

* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: It's made clear she's got feelings for the Hero since before the beginning of the game, but if the Hero chooses a different paramour, she'll be a good sport about it.

* AmbiguousGender: The Hero doesn't have a set gender, so the game uses GenderNeutralWriting to avoid stating one way or another.

* NightmareFetishist: Wanting to adopt a Womper is one thing. The fact that the villager with whom he becomes a couple is the Hero marries neither of them is [[spoiler:Lilith]] of all people indicates that having an appreciation for things most people consider scary is a pattern for him.

* HollywoodNerd: Very into her research; also very cute.

* {{Meganekko}}: She's a cute researcher who wears glasses.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Her teal hair is in fact her natural hair color, as she mentions in one of her dialogues. [[spoiler: Though she also claims it's dyed in one of her letters to you, so who knows?]]

* FreakyFashionMildMind: He's still wearing his Dark Wizard apparel and his decoration requests match his style, but he's actually one of the town's nicest residents.

* {{Bookworm}}: He initially takes up reading to try to understand what happened to him, but end picking it up as a hobby.

* ImpliedLoveInterest: There are hints that she and the Hero had a thing for each other back during the adventure.
* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: It's made clear she's got feelings for the Hero since before the beginning of the game, but if you choose a different paramour, she'll be a good sport about it.

* DevelopersDesiredDate: In the early game, she's ridiculously easy to befriend even compared to Dalton and Dudley, making her the first person the Hero will be able to flirt with. Story-wise, she and the Hero were romantically interested in each other [[spoiler:and went as far as kissing]] prior to the Dark Wiazard's defeat, while she ended being the one to find them just before the game's beginning. On top of both of those things, she requests her house to be be close to the Hero's, while two blueprints received as rewards for decorating her house are called "Kissing Plant" and "Willow's Heart".

* DarkIsEdgy: [[PlayedForLaughs Hilariously so.]] His decor requests are all of the most depressingly black pieces of furniture, including a picture titled "My Dark Soul."

* LoonWithAHeartOfGold: He's one of many NPCs who mostly exists as a potential free item dispenser for the Hero, making him come across as an overall nice man in addition to his quirkyness.
