Misuse of the page/link: Before, a Twitter link was being used to "prove" the author claims that Ienaga Kano is a transgender woman. The Q&A in the tweet in question, however, reads as this: "Is the 'Kano' in Ienaga Kano's name a real name? Or is it a pseudonym?" and the answer reads: "It's a pseudonym, his real name is Chikanobu." To use a link that's in Japanese and take advantage of the way most English speakers won't understand it and just accept what the troper has written as fact is extremely harmful, and whichever troper put that there should have action brought against them for spreading misinformation! (In fact, the Japanese here is simple enough that even Google Translate gets it right, too! I checked! So the misleading info to push an agenda wasn't cool.)

* ManipulativeBastard: {{Downplayed}}. Ogata is much smarter and more observant than he lets on, and is more aware of personal secrets and insights towards his companions that he shows, which allows him to skilfully set up alliances of convenience even between people who know he's untrustworthy, simply because none of them actually know what his overall goals and intentions are beyond what he tells them. However, whilst this lets him manipulate small isolated groups of people towards his own ends, he can't hold a candle towards [[TheChessmaster Tsurumi]], which is something Ogata himself seems to realise, as he's noticeably wary and on edge whenever the situation involved him or his close allies in the 7th Division. Notably, he's apparently the only member of the 7th that was able to catch onto Tsurumi's ModusOperandi of manipulating his subordinates into situations he'd set up beforehand to cement their UndyingLoyalty to him, shortly after Tsurumi helped Ogata [[spoiler: kill his father and frame it as Seppeku, which would allow Tsurumi to then manipulate the government's reaction to his dishonourable suicide to further bind the loyalty of the 7th to himself]].

* BastardBastard: He is revealed to be the child of Lieutenant General Hanazawa and one of his mistresses. He even attributes his own massive sociopathy to the lack of love in his family, especially compared to his half-brother Yusaku (Hanazawa's "proper" son) who turned out to be a moral upstanding fellow, leaving him with the theory that his troubled conception left him born "unfinished".
