* FrontierDoctor: He's a physician at an isolated fort who patchers up Bridgette's hurt foot and tests people for signs of werewolf infection by seeing how they react to leeches.

* AmbigouslyBi: Ends up dating and having sex with Jason, but some of her interactions with female characters come off as a little suggestive. When Brigitte asks her if she's going to eat Trina, Ginger dismisses it by saying it would be like having sex with her. This is taken to an incestous extreme, as she is not only very close to Briggite, but when she tries to pull a WeCanRuleTogether with her, uses sexually suggestive language, and goes as far as to describe her [[DrunkOnTheDarkside emotional state]] with masturbatory language and imagery.

* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: After discovering that Jean-Pierre was made a werewolf and won't be bringing supplies back he wants to abandon the fort, which Rowlands refuses to allow.

* SmallRoleBigImpact: He doesn't; get much focus (and is listed third to last in the credits) but he's the one who lets the sisters into the fort in the first place, on his own judgment (something which he is instantly criticized for by some of the others).

* WouldHitAGirl: Downplayed. He knocks down Ginger with his rifle butt when she returns to the fort, but she's known to be infected at that point and he isn't able to shot her as she's opening the gates to let in the werewolves.

* IdenticalGrandson: Possibly, as another character played by him was in the second movie.

* EveryoneCanSeeIt: With Sam. Both Trina and Ginger lampshade this.

* ShipTease: With Sam in the first film. Ginger and Trina seem to notice this and are ''not'' amused by this. Likewise, Sam insists he doesn't think of her "like that", to which Brigitte rolls her eyes.

* WeCanRuleTogether: Tries to get Brigitte to turn into a werewolf and become a pack.[[/folder]]

* CuriosityKilledTheCast: He goes wondering after a noise in the dark.
* DueToTheDead: He's seen making crosses for men killed by the werewolves.

* OhCrap" Gapes and runs after Ginger cuts James throat and open the gate for the rest of the werewolves.

* ZombieInfectee: He's bitten by a werewolf and tires to kill Murphy's leeches in a field attempt to keep this from being found out.

* OhCrap" Gapes and runs after Ginger cuts James throat and open the ate for the rest of the werewolves.

* AwesomeByAnalysis: Calmly identifies a bone the Hunter throws on the table as a wolf jaw and is able to tell the size of it.

* KickTheDog: Locks the sisters in a house with a werewolf on the loose, for no discernible reason other than they are outsiders. Keep in mind, this is before he or anyone knew or had any idea that Ginger was bitten.

* GreenEyedMonster: Described as this by Ginger during an argument, but while she owns up to having always wanted to be her sister, it's less clear if her disapproval of Ginger's erratic behaviour is due to jealously (whether wanting the life and attention Ginger has started to enjoy, or possessiveness over her precious sister) or a genuine disgust with normalcy, which she sneers at.

* GreenEyedMonster: Described as this by Ginger during an argument, but while she owns up to having always wanted to be her sister, it's less clear if her disapproval of Ginger's erratic behaviour is due to jealously (whether wanting the life and attention Ginger has started to enjoy, or possessiveness over her precious sister) or a genuine disgust with normality, as she claims.

* ParentsAsPeople: She's not very useful and clearly doesn't understand her daughters at all, but she does love them a lot, [[spoiler:to the point of being willing to go on the run from the law with them so they won't have to go to jail.]]

* KnightTemplarBigSister: She is super protective of Brigitte, especially after she gets bitten, [[spoiler: to the point of killing people that look at her little sister funny.]]

* DisproportinateRetribution: While his throwing Milo out was mostly for him being mixed race and his father no longer there to protect him, it also stemmed from him getting Wallace to stop his AttemptedRape of Brigitte.

* PolitcallyIncorrectVillain: Repeatedly makes it clear that he blames the werewolf curse on Fort Bailey on white men marrying and having children with aboriginals. He constantly refers to them as savages and heathens and interlaces this in nearly all his sermons.

A veteran of the War of 1812, and the Sergeant Major of Fort Bailey. He is less paranoid about the sisters, but is enough of a jerk that he attacks them anyway, simply for being out at night.

* AntiVillain: Jerkass qualities aside, Gilbert's motivation stems from having to spend a year in an isolated Fort where it's residents where picked off by werewolves they constantly had to fight off, and as such he sees himself as trying to protect the Fort from outside threats which he perceives in the Fitzgeralds.

* HollywoodRacism: He blames all the happenings in Fort Bailey on Wallace marrying a native woman.
* JerkAss: Almost immediately wants to cast out the Fitzgerald sisters out of paranoia, expresses racism towards Wallace in regards to his wife and blames his marriage for bringing lycanthropy into all of them in the first place.
* KarmicDeath: Attempts to burn Brigitte alive, gets burned alive himself.
