* TheLoad: Tabby throughout ''Roots'' did not amount to anything at all, and, in fact, many times, she exacerbated problems due to being an oblivious and gullible IdiotHero that jumped to conclusions without thinking at all. Even when her actions ultimately do lead to some actual good, namely the Medic Union, the guild they started out as was railroaded by her to just help just Haseo, which ultimately went nowhere very quickly, leading to her two guildmates to abandon her[[note]]Even Seisaku, who crushed on her and tried to get her to come with him instead, to no avail, though talking to him in Root Towns show he's not bitter about it[[/note]]. Yes, she is such a massive case of The Load that ''[[UpToEleven she’s still one even when actually spearheading something]]''. [[spoiler: Is it any wonder why Haseo thought everyone else was as unhelpful as she was? The most helpful she actually gets to be is when she finally puts playing The World on hiatus to study being a nurse in the hopes of caring for Shino, but see AllForNothing]].

* DudeLooksLikeALady: Taken UpToEleven with his Xth Form in ''Link''. Kaoru is not that much less pretty than his PC, as validated by the ''Ragtime'' novel, backing up the whole "fashion model" looks.

* IOweYouMyLife: Incredibly downplayed, but once Haseo manages to save her from an AIDA when she [[TakingTheBullet saved Zelkova from being hit instead]], not only does this earn Haseo her trust finally, but she starts going out of her way to be a MamaWolf whenever someone starts trying to step on him while she's around.
