* LoveAtFirstSight: Not terribly disimilar to Acasta, even if she's not as proactive in her affections, having several lines, especially in her retrofit, that strongly imply she has quite an interest in you, even indirectly imply by accident that she sees you as her sweetheart, regadless of affection level.

* ShanaClone: She's superficially a young, flat-chested teenager, but she's [[OlderThanSheLooks the second-oldest Royal Navy ship in the game]] and ''hates'' being treated as young. She wears her blonde hair in nearly waist-length GirlishPigtails, wears an old-timey, musketeer-esque military outfit with a skirt, and always carries either her sword or a finger pointer stick when she shows up in tutorials. She's an extreme Tsundere denying affection for the Commander, even up to her lines for marriage, but she's not particularly violent or demeaning besides calling him a pervert. If she gets defeated in battle, she unleashes a RapidFireShutUp. For even further hilarity, she's even more of a ShanaClone than HMS ''Vampire'', who's voiced by none other than [[Creator/RieKugimiya Shana's voice actress]].

* BuxomBeautyStandard: She's one of the most well-endowed destroyers in the game, which Purifier blatantly points out during their encounter during the "Pledge of the Radiant Court" event.

* DistressedDamsel: She plays this up for all its worth, asking to be escorted everywhere and rescued.

* AnimeHair: A standout among the many other shipgirls of ''AL'', and a hairdo that defies sub-classification. She's got MegaTwintails that apparently originate from the crown of her head and reach down to her knees, while also having an {{Ahoge}} and sideburns. Oh, and it's multicolored. The amount of time she must spend on her hair each day beggars the imagination.

* BuxomIsBetter: She's rather nicely stacked for a destroyer, especially compared to other ships in the "J" class. Purifier explicitly points this out.

As well, she has a chain ending in an anchor that resembles a forked tail, like that of a stereotypical devil. Ironically, her pledge line and the name of her pledge skin, "Eloi's Blessing" imply that she is either a practicing Christian or Jew, as Eloi is the Aramaic name for God.

* ShesGotLegs: Her white stockings accentuate this.

* EarlyBirdCameo: She first appears in "Pledge of the Radiant Court" and Jervis's Secretary Quest, then makes her playable debut in "Halloween Hijinks".

* FragileSpeedster: She has the highest Evasion among the three available starters in the game, but has lower firepower and HP than the others. Post-retrofit, she has one of the highest Evasion stats in the game. Unfortunately, diminishing returns on higher evasion and subsequent changes to the game's evasion mechanic prevents her from taking full advantage of it.

* NotCompletelyUseless: As mentioned above, Javelin ultimately ends up being a MasterOfNone FragileSpeedster due to her focus on Evasion (having the highest Evasion in the game, in fact), which gets hit hard with diminishing returns. However, there is one job at which she has no peer, and that is meeting Evasion stat requirements in event Hard Modes. If you are looking to [[MinMax run a 2-ship fleet]] to farm an event map with Evasion requirements of over 800, Javelin is all but ''mandatory''.

* StarterMon: One of the three starters available in the game along with Z23 in the English and Chinese versions or Ayanami in the Japanese version and Laffey in all three versions.
