Living most of his life on a reservation, Atohi’s recruitment has opened a wide door of opportunities for the aspiring herbalist, one he plans to take full advantage of. From the time she was a young as six years old, Chiasa has been ice skating. Over the years she’s been in competitions for all different sorts of things, speed skating, figure skating, everything she could possibly do, and she’s won almost every single time. She’s won countless competitions throughout her entire life, and thanks to her parents constant bragging about it every chance they get wherever they go, it’s a rather well known fact. But a talent like this doesn’t come naturally of course; she spent her whole life training at the insistence of her parents. So much of her life, in fact, that it’s all she’s ever done. She was isolated her whole life from other people her own age, made to only ever practice and compete to earn her title. Due to this her social skills, assuming there ever had been any in the first place, have been worn away completely. It’s rare to see her express much emotion, in fact you probably won’t be able to tell how she feels until she acts on it. [[spoiler:When the class mistrials in chapter 5, Monobear chooses to wrongfully execute two random students, and Chiasa is one of the students he executes.]]

Her natural bright and buoyant personality saw that her aerials were filled with joy and hope, and drew the attention of everyone for her skill at such a young age. While a devastating incident drew her out of the public’s eye for a few years, she returned with a vengeance, with an air of maturity and rawness of emotions to her performances that showed that no matter what had happened, she decided that she wasn’t giving up on her favorite style of performance yet. After performing with the renowned circus and acrobatic troupe ‘Cirque Du Soleil’, she was cemented in the public’s eye as an extraordinary silk aerialist, who went on to perform in some international shows before being scouted for Hope’s Peak Academy at the start of her high school years. [[spoiler:Choko Kobayashi is the chapter 3 murderer, but the class correctly figures out that it was her, and she is executed.]]

Astronomers Mr. and Mrs. Sterling were lovingly proud of their little girl, Elara Sterling, and she in turn always shared their interest in outer space. Looking up at the stars every night caused little Elara to wonder what the stars were made of, and from there, unlike her parents who studied the movements of space, she wondered what made the stars tick and planets behave as they did. She began attending astrophysics conventions; the astrophysicists, thrilled to have a cute little girl take an interest in their field, unofficially adopted her as their “mascot”. Then, on the best and the worst day in Elara Sterling’s life, she pointed out an error in a scientist’s theory and discovered a brand new solar system, thus earning her Super High-School Level title of SHSL Astrophysicist…right on the same day that she suffered the worst tragedy of her life. Despite this, Elara announced to the scientific community that she would head off to Hope’s Peak with her head held high and move forward, and continues to say little on the matter other than that, refusing even to reveal what happened to her that day unless specifically asked. Eri was quite the new face in his talent’s originally small community, only appearing about two years ago, but despite this he has quickly risen to the top. He started with an anonymous blog of puzzles of his own creation and earned some fans. Some started sending him puzzles for him to solve. There didn’t seem to be a solvable puzzle he couldn’t put together. Only a year ago he revealed himself to the public. His reveal went quite viral over the web and only helped make him even more popular. The puzzle community also grew in large thanks to him. First only really acknowledged as puzzle game fans or those rubik’s cube fanatics, now an entire new breed of puzzlers are coming out. [[spoiler:Eri is one of two murder victims in chapter 5, found dead of exsanguination. It turns out that Eri and Harumi killed each other, but the class mistrialed and Monobear revealed this fact too late.]]

Some might say he is a mysterious character that shows up briefly and conquers in a few hours, mercilessly crushing enemies on his path— while others who actually spoke to him say he is a very generous, fair-play and overall incredibly strong player. That though, is what he is in the virtual world; as for the real world… He is the same, without the incredible magical and physical strengths. If reality is so accepting, then why it is I, a self-proclaimed warrior. [[spoiler:When Monobear first appears and threatens everyone with his mutual killing game, Exus gets so angry at what he perceives to be a gamer on a power trip that he throws a knife at Monobear. He misses, and Monobear breaks his arm as punishment for attacking him, but Exus survives. However, Exus Val is later murdered in chapter 4, found dead of cardiac arrest.]]

Genji grew up in a small town and spent most of his time outdoors and learning archery. He is an only child and never knew any of his extended family. He almost never left his hometown, so big cities are new to him. He spent anytime not at school, practicing archery. When he went to high school he joined their Archery club. Later earning a spot in a local competition, Genji took top marks and won first place.This also got him noticed by Hope’s Peak. It was a big step out of his comfort zone but after much thinking Genji accepted the offer to the school. This was the first time he spent more then a day away from his hometown. Utilizing her school’s sanctioned disciplinary committee under a tactical leadership did Harumi Anezaki earn the name ‘Commander General’ during the elected period of disciplinary action against misconducting juveniles. With her prowess and dedication for public safety, her selection into Hope’s Peak Academy was nearly expected upon being awarded by the Local Police, along with the rest of her committee, as ‘Outstanding Youth Activism’, celebrated on National Television for their feats. [[spoiler:Harumi is one of two murder victims in chapter 5, found dead of cardiac arrest. It turns out that Eri and Harumi killed each other, but the class mistrialed and Monobear revealed this fact too late.]]

Henri’s most noted for his limitless passion! Why, he puts everything into what he does. what does he do? He’s a castle actor! He spends day and night, acting as a noble knight for a royal king at various different castles-turned-theme-park. Henri isn’t your run of the mill soldier, either, no. He plays his part with courage and energy, and always seems to entertain the public. Even when he’s out of his armor, he’s known to act bravely for the people, when they so demand. [[spoiler:He's the chapter 2 murderer, stabbing K to death, but the class figures out it was him, especially after he confesses.]]

She found herself being interested in universe and cosmology itself, attending conventions for science, buying books, and researching the subject majorly. In high-school, she joined a research team, being the only one underage in the group. They made breakthroughs in the subject, and Honoka became more experienced in the energy and mass theories of space. Determination and desire for fame made her spend big amounts of time in research, along with her team— this gave them amounts of fame, breakthroughs within their field and prizes such as the Gruber Prize of Cosmology, and recognition by the International Astronomical Union. The team then entered a museum, to encourage people to enter the field of Astronomy or other fields of science— she is currently recognized as a Science Publicist. He’s well known for his ability to bring out someone’s personality through their face and the proper application of makeup, and has been hired to work as a makeup technician for movies and theater preformances in the past. She became invested in this era after hearing about it in her history class and since then, is completely encaptured by it. Her collection of Sengoku-related items is astounding, having even some real documents and the likes in her possession, one of them being a pile of old books that describe some facts that weren’t known until then. Coupled with her incredible knowledge about the Sengoku period, this earned her an invitation of the highly-esteemed Hope’s Peak Academy. This tore his heart out, tearing his family apart in the process. He never actually divorced his wife, instead simply walking out on them and moving away when Makoto was four. She was raised by her mother alone, growing to resent not only her father, feeling him a coward, but others in his line of work as well. When Nuncio left, he left behind several books and props allowing her to study the basics of magic. This got her interested in studying the practice further, however she had no interest in performing, no. Instead, she had the goal of exposing those performers who claimed to have legitimate magic or psychic powers as frauds. She started small, crashing a few nightclub performers’ acts and flawlessly replicating their ‘powers’. Over time, people started taking notice. She soon turned her attention to a famous medium, proving her a fraud live on her own television show. Asking him this question gets a very enthusiastic “Of course!” As he shows true dedication and desire to improve. Nothing seems to deter him, be it on the track or not. From there on out, Nanako began to volunteer at any place possible. From animal shelters to homeless shelters, Nanako demonstrated a want to improve the lives of both humans and animals. Her selflessness, dedication, and social conduct are what grabbed the attention of Hope’s Peak Academy! [[spoiler:Nanako kills Susumu in chapter 1, but is not caught because the class incorrectly votes for Mirai, and Monobear randomly chooses Honoka to execute. Genji grew up in a small town and spent most of his time outdoors and learning archery. He is an only child and never knew any of his extended family. He almost never left his hometown, so big cities are new to him. He spent anytime not at school, practicing archery. When he went to high school he joined their Archery club. Later earning a spot in a local competition, Genji took top marks and won first place.This also got him noticed by Hope’s Peak. It was a big step out of his comfort zone but after much thinking Genji accepted the offer to the school. This was the first time he spent more then a day away from his hometown.

Hideaki Daitan has always held a special place in the followers of the fighting game scene’s hearts, as that one kid who came to prominence at the age of 15, and suddenly started to become the best, as if by magic. Having taken too many tournaments to even count, including any major he can attend, Hideaki has quickly rose to fame as the most prominent Fighting Game Player around. Not content with just one game, he has mastered every single game he can get his hands on, from the major releases which garner worldwide attention, to obscure doujin games. No matter the game, he’s played it, and he knows how to beast in it. His sheer fundamental ability in said games is second to none, and some wonder if he can truly read minds… which is untrue. He’s just simply that good.

He’s well known for his ability to bring out someone’s personality through their face and the proper application of makeup, and has been hired to work as a makeup technician for movies and theater preformances in the past. If your talent includes Enthusiast in the title, it’s not hard to assume that the person itself is a pretty enthusiastic fellow. As soon as you speak about the Sengoku period, you will have to deal with the very passionate Kazumi, a girl who appreciates everything that is somehow tied to this particular time of Japanese History – even if some contributions like games and books take liberties with their portrayal. She became invested in this era after hearing about it in her history class and since then, is completely encaptured by it. Her collection of Sengoku-related items is astounding, having even some real documents and the likes in her possession, one of them being a pile of old books that describe some facts that weren’t known until then. Coupled with her incredible knowledge about the Sengoku period, this earned her an invitation of the highly-esteemed Hope’s Peak Academy. [[spoiler:After Monobear's unfair decision in chapter 5 to wrongfully execute ''two'' random students for a mistrial instead of one, Kazumi challenges Monobear. Monobear leaps at her to kill her, but she is spared when Atohi takes the blow in her place.]]

Her father was born and raised in Trento, Italy. He performed with a troupe of performers based in Japan as a psychic, making dazzling predictions and performing all kinds of unbelievable feats. Over the years he became very well-known, his fame spreading overseas, at least when he was targeted by famed skeptic James Randi, who exposed him as a fraud. This tore his heart out, tearing his family apart in the process. He never actually divorced his wife, instead simply walking out on them and moving away when Makoto was four. She was raised by her mother alone, growing to resent not only her father, feeling him a coward, but others in his line of work as well. When Nuncio left, he left behind several books and props allowing her to study the basics of magic. This got her interested in studying the practice further, however she had no interest in performing, no. Instead, she had the goal of exposing those performers who claimed to have legitimate magic or psychic powers as frauds. She started small, crashing a few nightclub performers’ acts and flawlessly replicating their ‘powers’. Over time, people started taking notice. She soon turned her attention to a famous medium, proving her a fraud live on her own television show. Nonetheless, this was what got her noticed by Hope’s Peak Academy, earning her the title of Super High School Level Skeptic.

With only one year of official racing under his belt Masanori has managed to make quite the name for himself as an up and coming start in the Japanese horse racing community. Showing promise and rather extreme drive to self-improvement, Masanori has stated that he wants to become one of the best racers in Japan. His record for one so young is impressive, it’s not unheard of for one to have a strong start, and the question that people have asked him is if he has the determination to continue it. Asking him this question gets a very enthusiastic “Of course!” As he shows true dedication and desire to improve. Nothing seems to deter him, be it on the track or not.

Mirai Tsukino is the saint of the youth fashion world. Her career started from writing a blog dedicated to Japanese street fashion. She started to make clothes herself, using her sketches and ideas. Soon, she gained enough popularity to establish her own clothing brand which caused a massive boom in the fashion world whisking her into the privilege of creating private collections. [[spoiler:The class incorrectly votes for Mirai as chapter 1's culprit, but instead of executing Mirai, Monobear chooses a random student to execute.]]

The star of the popular travelling circus Circo de Magio, Rosimar is the leader of the show’s world-famous clown duo. Adored by both children and adults, he is a genius in comedy that is praised for his continuously flawless performances. Having visited most countries at the ripe age of 17, he is worldly wise and extremely experienced, born in Brazil and currently residing in Japan. Not a lot is known about him since he takes much care to avoid paparazzi and journalists. However, having entertained audiences for most of his life, it is rumoured that it only takes 10 seconds of speaking to him to get hysterics out of you.

Dancing isn’t just a hobby. It’s a passion that lets the dancer put all their feelings, mind, and body into it. The effort helps create the perfect sequences of movements that capture the audiences’ attention and surely be the talk of the town. And that’s just what Shinobu wants to create and showcase. After years of training and experiments from a young age and on, she was able to compose a variety of different choreographies. The majority of them becoming hits in their first week. Although she didn’t just stop at working with theaters. She is also available for classes within her aunt’s studio. Although her classes are mostly her shooting choreography videos using hit songs from around the world. She hopes she can share her passion with everyone that watches and inspire them to take up dancing as well.
