* SoleSurvivor: heavily implied to be the driving factor for her Guilt Protocol, as evidenced by Shigure's discussion of her own protocol with Damon. This can be seen as the author's interpretation of her real-life counterpart's circumstances in respect to the story in the form of SurvivorGuilt taken [[UpToEleven to its extreme.]]

* CutlassBetweenTheTeeth: [[spoiler:in Cologne, after Samidare revives her with her Brightwater Protocol, Murasame does this to wipe out the rest of the Abyssals save the Re-Class. She does this with an anchor [[UpToEleven that's as big as she is]], because that's what she's turned her severed arms into.]]

* TookALevelInBadass: compared to her ingame self, anyway. Once she joins Damon's fleet, she fights as his personal escort during the Orlando operation after she, Shoukaku, and Kaga, all of whom have been [[spoiler:Abyssalized]] to some degree, [[InASingleBound jump up to the container freighter]] on which Damon is fighting [[UpToEleven from sea level]]. Happens again when she [[spoiler:activates her Desire Protocol.]]

* BadassAdorable: cranked UpToEleven. She loves sweet stuff, loves head pats and games, and will wreck a display bin full of giant plush dolls at Cosco just to hug it. She can also rip your head off and incinerate you with yellow flames, [[OhCrap and she hasn't even hit her second remodel state yet.]]

* UpToEleven: in the game and among fanworks, she's already quite well known for her title as "The Nightmare of Solomon". In this story, this title gets weaponized as a protocol that turns her into a warhound set on [[KillEmAll killing everything]]. Even her entry in the stat sheet specifically has an ability called "Warhound" that is available for her to use once her protocol is activated.

* ThatThingIsNotMyChild: cranked UpToEleven, see ArchnemesisDad. For !Samidare, this can mix with the UpToEleven variant of IHaveNoSon.

* RantInducingSlight: [[spoiler:her tantrum in chapter 299 doesn't start as one, but it becomes one when Suzukaze yells back at her that she should've offed herself so that she wouldn't need to suffer being isolated for so long.]]
* RippedFromTheHeadlines: she now has the distinction of being ''the quickest'' among the ship girls pulled from the game and put into this story right as they were implemented - ''within a single day.''
